A warm welcome to our vacation rental, nestled between lakes and the sea in the heart of Holstein Switzerland!
All year round, you can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings here—with hills, meadows, fields, forests, lakes, and the sea.
The spacious apartment is located on the upper floor of a two-family home. Enjoy the magnificent view across a horse pasture into the rolling hills of Holstein! Very well-equipped, including a fully furnished built-in kitchen, it offers plenty of space and is suitable for large families (up to 6 people; cribs available) as well as small groups.
Since we want guests with allergies to feel comfortable here, pets are unfortunately not allowed. Smoking is also permitted only outside the house.
We’ve also got you covered when it rains: there are toys in the kids’ corner, board games, books, and entertainment electronics. Free Wi-Fi is available. During the colder months, you can use our infrared sauna (for 2 people) for a fee. You can also rent two bicycles and a handcart for a small fee.
The large garden, featuring a lawn for lounging and playing, a paved seating area, patio furniture, a grill, and a fire pit, is perfect for running around, playing, chatting, relaxing, and sunbathing. The quiet location on the outskirts of the village along a sandy path (with very little local traffic) offers older children the chance to go on discovery tours and have adventures without much danger. Hikers and cyclists can start their trips right from the vacation rental; there’s direct access to the E1 and E6 long-distance hiking trails, as well as to many other hiking and biking trails in the area (maps available!). The location in the Holstein Lake District is also ideal for water hikers and water sports enthusiasts. The nearest swimming spot on the lake is a 4-minute drive away.
And the sea! After a 30-minute drive, nothing stands in the way of a day at the beach on Lübeck Bay or Hohwacht Bay!
Or how about a stroll through the historic royal towns of Eutin or Plön (each a 10-minute drive) or the Kneipp spa town of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen (5 minutes)? Take a leisurely stroll, enjoy a coffee at the market, visit the weekly market, wander along the lakes, tour Eutin Castle, or enjoy the diverse exhibitions at the Ostholstein Museum, the outstanding Malente Spa Park—created in 1962 by the famous landscape architect Karl Plomin (who also designed Planten un Blomen in Hamburg)...
For those who prefer something a bit bigger: the nearby cities of Kiel and Lübeck (both about 35 km away) also offer historic charm, culture, shopping, and more for explorers of all ages.

“Zwischen Seen und Meer” vacation rental:

The vacation rental features two bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom), as well as a large living room with a play area and two additional sleeping options (a sofa bed with an extra pull-out bed drawer), a dining area, a separate, well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub.
The nightly rate includes towels, bed linens, and final cleaning.



On-site costs: The booking and cancellation terms and conditions set forth in the General Terms and Conditions of Malente Tourismus- und Service GmbH apply, unless otherwise agreed.



Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
