We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the house. It was a great place for our group of 25, and the location and overall setup worked very well for us. The landscape is beautiful and the proximity to hiking, and other nature is excellent. The owners were responsive and easy to communicate with, and we appreciated how accommodating they were.We would definitely be happy to return and would recommend the property to others looking for a great place to stay.

This is very large house with multiple living spaces in a magnificent setting and appropriate for large groups families .We were a mixed age group from 5-90 and the house provided many options for this mixed age group. The pool, lake and volley ball court all a big plus as well as the indoor ping pong, and other games. We were surprised by the lack of a notebook with information about the facility and how things work There is a need for additional lighting particularly in the bedrooms.. The house was not cleaned appropriately The Bathrooms did not have soap and shampoo which is usually a standard in this type of house. The kitchen equipment, dishes and glasses were not organized in a useful way and this is challenging when preparing food for large groups The cleaning was not what it should have been for several of the bathrooms and bedrooms unfortunately the garbage was not picked up as scheduled. The hot tub needed treatment in order to be used. We were surprised by the lack of organization of things in the house that we found. We had to request outdoor umbrellas for sitting outside during the summer and the ones provided did not work appropriately. The staff of Avantstay were very responsive and tried to be as helpful as possible under the circumstances.

We're glad the setting, the multiple living spaces, and amenities like the pool, lake, volleyball court, and game options gave your group, spanning ages 5 to 90, plenty of ways to enjoy time together. We also appreciate you recognizing our team's responsiveness during your stay. That said, several aspects of the home clearly did not meet the standard you should expect from us, and we're sorry for that. We've shared your notes in detail with our operations team, covering cleaning, bathroom supplies, kitchen organization, lighting, the hot tub, trash service, and the outdoor umbrellas, so each item can be reviewed and addressed. Your feedback is helping us do better, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide the experience this home should deliver.

The property has a lot of promise and is a great space with the potential to be a really enjoyable place to stay. Our guests did their best to make the most of our stay and enjoy the property, but unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance issues were difficult to overlook.When we arrived, the house was simply not clean. There was a significant amount of dust throughout the property, including heavy dust buildup on the ceiling fans. The showers and toilets were also not properly cleaned, which was particularly disappointing and made us question how thoroughly the property is cleaned between guests. Overall, the place felt as though it had not received the level of cleaning and attention needed before our arrival.The garbage dumpster was also completely full when we arrived, which was another indication that the property had not been properly checked and prepared for our stay.We also had an issue with the pool heater. The heater had been ordered, but despite that, no one actually turned it on. As a result, we were unable to fully enjoy the pool as we had expected.Overall, it appeared that the house is not being proactively maintained or inspected. Many of these issues could have been identified and addressed before guests arrived with a more thorough inspection and preparation process.That said, the property itself is a great space and has a lot of potential. Our group genuinely tried to make the best of our stay and enjoy the property. With better housekeeping,
