About Rachel Brannan

Our family includes two children and a chocolate lab. My husband is a native to Arizona and has grown up hunting and fishing in and around Flagstaff and loves the area’s vegetation and wildlife. I love the charm of Flagstaff after attending NAU for part of college and growing up skiing at Arizona Snowbowl.

Rachel Brannan purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Rachel Brannan chose Canyon Country & Northeast

We bought this cabin as a retreat for our family in the woods to escape the desert heat and the crowds in Phoenix. We found this area of Flagstaff over 13 years ago and loved it. We were so thrilled this year to be able to find a home in the same area to purchase as our family retreat. The close proximity to skiing/hiking, peacefulness of the large wooded lot and short drive to downtown Flagstaff makes it ideal.

Beautiful location in the forest.

  • 5 of 5

The home was well equipped and very welcoming. The location was perfect...close to town, not too far from the Grand Canyon.

Great tree house

  • 5 of 5

We call it the tree house because of its fabulous location in the pines. But this little gem is much more. It is beautiful, clean, well stocked, all the creature comforts, and the perfect getaway.

Nice little hideaway!

  • 4 of 5

This is a quiet, clean and well kept place to stay.

The drive back to the property is a little rough so take it slow. Watch for elk and deer in the fields or crossing the road. Be sure to take a hike behind the house.

Beautiful cabin nestled within the forest!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I traveled to Flagstaff for a weekend soccer tournament. My daughter's only request was a "cabin in the woods". Initially, I was worried about the driving distance into town, but we easily got to the NAU soccer fields within 15 minutes. The cabin had all the amenities, was nicely decorated, and plenty big for the three of us. It also has a great DVD selection and excellent wifi. We enjoyed hiking around the cabin and saw deer and elk. Rachel is super-easy to communicate with and kept me updated. If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and scenic place to stay, I highly recommend this cabin!
