What a beautiful home, or manor, as the owners refer to it as. All of the furnishings and decor were absolutely perfect and there was everything you needed to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. The whole vibe of the house was serene and welcoming. We felt at one with its presence and we can’t wait until we can visit again.

The manor is amazing. The attention to detail is incredible. You would need days to see it all. The location couldn’t be better. Restaurants, shops, and bars less than a block away.

If you’re looking for an extra-special place to stay in Delaware, this is it! The amenities are top notch, from the comfortable beds, high-quality linens, high-end appliances and fixtures, to the super convenient location, a block from downtown! Walk to restaurants, breweries and shops. Oh, did I mention the unique, one-of-a-kind Addams Family themed decor?! And not just pictures (though there are many) - the hefty, unique and surprisingly comfortable furniture, period light fixtures, beautiful wide-plank, original flooring, amazing woodwork such as doors, bannisters, and monumental trim work. Everywhere you look there’s a new visual treat to discover (some more hidden than others)! This home was renovated with great care; and our stay was quite comfortable. The showers (water pressure and temperature) worked great, and the two separate thermostats kept the air temperature perfect. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed, including a coffee maker, toaster, and just about every thing you could think of. For such a large home, it was very clean as well. Thank you to our hosts for creating this unique experience.

A review simply doesn't do this experience justice! It's truly and experience AND an overnight stay. As locals, we booked the manor for our son to celebrate his birthday. We enjoyed walkable downtown attractions, delicious dining and shopping. The outside of the manor is eerie, it's creepy, kooky and spooky but inside....inside isn't even describable as anything other than transitioning into a portal leading you out of the modern world and directly into THE ADDAMS FAMILY. Everywhere you look, there is an added detail or charm to elevate the EXPERIENCE. Bones in the register, cobwebs in the chandelier. Imagination, love and passion went into the execution of this property. I imagine if the hosts pursued a career in set design they would nail it! Speaking of the hosts, PHENOMENAL! They were very helpful in communicating, explained the process in great detail. Assisted in pulling off an incredible surprise for our son and even went ABOVE and Beyond (the living) to create a sweet scavenger hunt for our son's arrival. I travel frequently and have rented boutique rental properties before and this surpassed the expectations and experiences previously from start to finish I can't think of a single improvement to be made!

Incredible experience. Impeccable attention to detail. We had so much fun. Our granddaughters brought costumes from last Halloween. They loved recreating scenes from the movie and show.
