THE RUBY is a serene ECO SMART villa nestled in a gated community in the hills, 15 minutes from Ocho Rios and is ideal for families & remote workers. The villa features modern conveniences including 24/7 security, solar power + battery, A/C, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, 2 water tanks, fenced gated back yard, security cameras, workstation with monitors, 4 smart TVs, water filtration, extended patio with a lit pergola, BBQ, basketball arcade & board games. Extras: car seat, crib, baby bath and highchair.

THE RUBY is decorated to be our home away from home and we hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay!

ECO-FRIENDLY:
In an effort to be kind to the environment, THE RUBY is equipped with the following:
- Backup solar panels and battery. This system is complimented and supplemented by the public electricity.
- RECENTLY ADDED - We've installed battery/electric powered lightbulbs in essential areas throughout the property.
- Solar water heater with automatic electrical backup for always-on hot water.
- Each security camera is individually powered by a dedicated solar panel.
- The motion sensor lighting around the property are all solar based.
- Please turn off lights, appliances, TV and AC units when not in use.
- Please do not run the AC units with any windows or doors open.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES:
THE RUBY is tastefully decorated with select furniture and carefully curated pieces from local artisans, artists and craft vendors. We’re proud to support our local community!

WATER FILTRATION:
THE RUBY is equipped with a double filter whole home water filtration system which filters the water from the public system to the home. There’s also another filtration system which filters the water to the tanks.
- In addition to the whole home double filtration system, THE RUBY has an additional filtration system which provides drinking/cooking water from a separate tap at the kitchen sink. This is filtered by the SORSO water filtration system installed under the kitchen sink.

PRIVATE SECURE WI-FI:
THE RUBY is equipped with a private secure EERO mesh wi-fi solution. This will ensure you’ll enjoy full wi-fi coverage throughout the entire property up to and including both front and back yard.

Please remember to: - Only lock the smart lock - Leave any other locks unlocked
IMPORTANT: Remember to sign out of your TV streaming service account (Netflix, Prime Video etc.) on all our TVs before you leave! Please drop us a quick note as you depart the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Unauthorized guests are not allowed at THE RUBY. There a USD$1,000 fine for unauthorized guests and it's strictly enforced.
Illegal drugs, illegal activities and weapons are strictly prohibited at THE RUBY.
Please place sanitary items in the small plastic bags provided above each toilet, then place the bag in the garbage. Please only flush toilet paper.

Nothing beats family time, loving and arguing with each other over good food while at a sunny destination. Africa is the next continent to explore. Inspiring talks with teens and young adults is very fulfilling.

Serene, peaceful, relaxing, sunny, safe, secure gated community with 24/7 security. The greenery of nature, the landscaped lawn and garden, the seasonal fruit trees and especially the friendly neighbours are some of the reasons I love this community!

Outside the community, the town is lively, vibrant, safe and gives the local experience. The beach is a 10-min drive, Ocho Rios is a 15-min drive and many local attractions (Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountain, Dolphin Cove etc.) are within a 20-30 min drive.

There's so much to do; restaurants, street food vendors, night clubs, lounges, spas and so much more is all within close proximity.

Or, you may just want to curl up on the comfy couch with a good book.
