Historic in character yet fully updated, the home features hardwood floors, modern fixtures, and a sun-filled open layout. A private balcony with western exposure offers incredible afternoon light, ocean breezes, and space to relax or work outside. Ideal for 31+ day stays or longer, this is a classic Venice home designed for comfort and walkable living.
This upstairs residence is part of Chateau des Roses, a meticulously renovated historic Venice building that blends old-world character with modern livability. Located on the second floor, the home offers a sense of privacy and separation from street level while still placing you right in the center of Rose Avenue.
Inside, the space feels warm, calm, and thoughtfully furnished. Original hardwood floors run throughout, paired with updated lighting, fixtures, and finishes. The living room flows into a full dining area and kitchen, creating an easy and open layout well suited for longer stays. Large windows invite in beautiful afternoon light and a gentle ocean breeze that defines the Venice Beach lifestyle.
The kitchen has been updated with modern appliances, open shelving, and everything needed to cook comfortably at home. Cooking supplies, coffee essentials, and thoughtful touches make it easy to settle in for a month or longer. A dedicated dining area provides space for meals, working remotely, or hosting a friend.
The bedroom is spacious and quiet, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, ample closet space, and blackout shades for restful sleep. The bathroom is fully updated and includes a tiled shower, modern fixtures, plush towels, and robes for a hotel quality experience. An in unit washer and dryer adds convenience for extended stays.
One of the most special features of this home is the private balcony. Facing west, it is the perfect place to sit with a coffee in the morning, work outside during the day, or enjoy golden hour light and Venice sunsets in the evening. The elevated position allows you to enjoy the energy of Rose Avenue while feeling slightly removed from it.
A full set of beach supplies is provided for our guests, including beach towels, a large beach umbrella, 2 portable beach chairs, and a cooler, all available for use inside the unit.
The building itself has been carefully renovated, with updated systems, well-maintained common areas, and a strong sense of pride in ownership. Everything feels clean, new, and thoughtfully cared for.

Whole Foods is only a few blocks away, and the beach is just moments west.
This is one of the most walkable locations in Venice. Many guests find they do not need a car at all during their stay. Everything from groceries and fitness studios to coffee shops and wine bars is within easy reach, making it simple to live like a local.
While visiting Southern California, having a car is the preferred mode of transportation for most, considering the wealth of unique attractions within a two-hour radius of this home. For the adventurous explorer, a car is highly recommended to fully appreciate the diverse experiences the area offers. However, if you`re inclined to arrive and seamlessly unwind at the house during your vacation, rest assured that Uber and Lyft services are readily available for convenient and hassle-free local transportation in Los Angeles.
This property is located approximately 7.5 miles miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 10 miles miles from SoFi Stadium.
- By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement. You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.
- Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
-This property is pet-friendly with the following limitations: a maximum of one (1) small dog is allowed, weighing under 30 lbs. No other pets are permitted.
A non-refundable $300 pet fee applies, and guests are responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, or disturbances caused by their pet. Pets may not be left unattended in the home.
- Please note that per the building’s CC&Rs, hanging clothing, towels, or any other items from the balcony is not permitted. We kindly ask all guests to respect this rule during their stay to remain in compliance with building regulations.
- Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!
-For stays over 30 days, we offer optional mid-stay cleanings for an additional fee. These provide a full refresh of the home and linens, and we recommend scheduling one every 15 days. Our professional housekeeping team is paid a fair, livable wage and plays a vital role in ensuring each stay is comfortable and exceptionally clean.
- Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a $250 fine.
