The cottage has four bedrooms: three queen beds and two single beds for the little ones. With comfortable living areas and stunning mountain views, it’s perfect for families, friends or small groups looking for a relaxing escape.

The space
This charming cottage is situated in Blue Valley, Hout Bay, nestled in a peaceful valley overlooking the surrounds of Hout Bay. Set within a sweeping garden with beautiful mountain views, the property offers a true country cottage feel. Outdoors, guests can enjoy an inviting al fresco dining area, a built in braai, and a pizza oven, perfect for relaxed meals and evenings under the sky.
Large glass doors open into a welcoming lounge featuring a comfortable corner couch, a fireplace for cosy nights, and a TV. The adjoining dining area is warm and intimate, seating up to eight guests, with a cottage style kitchen overlooking the space and fully equipped for self catering.
Downstairs, the cottage offers two queen bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a large bath. Upstairs, you will find a queen bedroom and a bright bathroom with a walk in shower. Across the landing is a twin bedroom, ideal for children, making the layout well suited for families.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy full use of the cottage and its grounds, which are private and secure. Please note that the firewood stacked in the courtyard is currently drying and is not for guest use. Firewood for your stay will be provided and stacked outside by the pizza oven and braai.

Other things to note
The cottage is surrounded by electric fencing and is accessed through a self-locking aluminium gate. The property is also fitted with an alarm system for added security. Blue Valley has a security hut on site, which is connected to Deep Blue Security, a 24-hour armed response unit.
