Welcome to the 4-star Almrausch vacation apartments. Go on a quest to find the Almrausch [Rhododendron hirsutum], the hairy alpine rose! Stay in a beautiful, absolutely peaceful setting with unobstructed views of Kofel and Oberammergau in our comfortable vacation apartments, built in 2005. The apartments are located at the end of a cul-de-sac, right at the start of a beautiful hiking trail, just a few minutes’ walk from the clinics, the NATO School, the Wellenberg swimming and recreation center, and the Laberbergbahn. A small stream invites you to relax or play. Both apartments are furnished in a modern country-style, are spacious, and each has two separate bedrooms. Each apartment also features a separate entrance and two bathrooms with a toilet. During the summer months, enjoy our sunny south/west-facing terrace and balcony. Get to know our unique town of Oberammergau—home to the Passion Play and woodcarving art—as well as its people and surroundings! Children are especially welcome here.



On-site fees: Check-in begins at 5:00 PM. If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us to make a request. Please note that in July and August, check-in and check-out days are on Saturdays.



Check-in is available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
