The holiday home Casa Rural Villena is located in Frigiliana and boasts a fantastic view of the sea. The spacious 100 m2 house consists of a living/dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the living room and entrance (with the option of hot or cold), a washing machine and a television. A baby cot is also available upon request. Your private outdoor area consists of an open terrace, a barbecue, a pool and an outdoor shower. Here you can relax on the sun loungers with a good book or sip on a glass of wine while you admire the views. In under 5 minutes walking you will reach restaurants, bars and cafes and the nearest supermarket is a 4-minute walk away (250 m). In approximately 15 minutes driving you will reach Nerja where you can spend the day on one of its beautiful beaches. Furthermore, Malaga airport is a 55-minute drive from the accommodation (73 km).



Parking is available on the property.

Fab base for beach and fun

The drive up is not for the faint hearted and the steps into town would not suit those with poor mobility but it’s also what makes frigiliana lovely! Comfortable base for our family holiday!

Great place

Only thing I would say is you might need to hire a car as the walk up from the town is very steep. The WiFi is not that good if you have an apple phone and the shower in one of the bathrooms had come off the wall

Fantastic views from villa

Pros: I absolutely loved my stay here, wonderful villa with a beautiful pool! The view from the villa is fantastic. I hired a car but some days I just left it at the villa and got the bus into Nerja which is only 10mins away. Excellent location where you can walk to bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Lovely

Lovely house at the very top of the village. Great views. We didn’t have a car and managed fine, quite steep going uphill but that was expected. I would however recommend a car for convenience.

Come here for views

The villa is beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is a good size and there is plenty of outside space including a nice brick BBQ. But the big thing is the views. You are directly above Frigiliana and the villa has some of the best views I have seen of the area. I would highly recommend this villa unless the access concerns you. Walking to it means climbing right through town which is a long and steep walk and quite hard work. Driving to it is via one of the typical campo roads for the area and not for the faint hearted. I love all that but some may not.

A wonderful villa at the top of the old village with great views

Pros: Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Short walk to town amenities (albeit on the stepped streets). Also good starting point for a couple of walks. Use of swimming pool - a bit cool (but it was March!). Breakfast by the pool with a view over the town and the valley. Regular bus service to/from Nerja - saved getting the car out when we went there. We really enjoyed staying here and wished we'd booked a second week. Achieved climbs of El Fuerte and El Cielo. Cons: Always drove the access lane with a bit of trepidation - it's OK so long as you don't meet another vehicle (we didn't). Luckily Suzanne leads you to it when you arrive. Though, almost uniquely, it is the one villa in the old town that has a good (large) parking space.

Ein entspannter Urlaub in herrlicher Umgebung

Pros: Die Organisation war hervorragend, der Empfang durch den Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfreich, und die Unterbringung entsprach voll den Erwartungen Cons: Ein bisschen störte die Bautätigkeit in der Umgebung und der damit verbundene Materialtransport, der direkt unterhalb des Hauses mit Mulis stattfand, ...allerdings nett zu beobachten!

Fantastische lokatie: weg van de drukte maar op wandelafstand van dorp

Pros: Weidse vergezichten, goed zwembad. Praktisch huis en goede bedden. Cons: Terras aan het zwembad met weinig lommer en de tafel een beetje verscholen achter rieten afsluiting. Keukengerei is aan vernieuwing toe.
