About Marilyn McEwen & Lance Blackwell
We moved here to Ucluelet from Vancouver in 1997, and added the one-bedroom suite in 2007.
Marilyn McEwen & Lance Blackwell purchased this House in 1997
Why Marilyn McEwen & Lance Blackwell chose Ucluelet
We loved the idea of a waterfront property, having lived on a floathome in Vancouver for 11 years prior to moving here. The half acre property allows us to maintain privacy for ourselves & our guests. The West Coast of Vancouver Island has a rugged beauty that is unmatched anywhere else in B.C.
What makes this House unique
There is always something to watch on the waterfront -- fishboats coming & going, sea lions frolicking, bald eagles fishing, kayakers meandering by.

Beautiful, cozy spot overlooking Ucluelet harbor
This was one of the most pleasant accommodations I've ever stayed in. Location is very central -- ten minute walk to all the shops, there are bald eagles in the trees outside, all you have to do is look up (stars) or out (bay and mountains) to feel inspired. Amenities were great, in addition to the kitchen there was a grill and a hot tub, both of which we took advantage of. A+
Comfortable, beautiful, fully equipped
A beautiful suite right at the water. We had everything we needed for cooking our meals, comfortable couches, comfortable furniture. Marilyn and Lance were very accessible with any questions. Lots of eagles.Would stay there again. Susan and George
