Nice cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at your cabin. The place was clean and had a nice lay out for the rooms. My girls loved the loft area for them self. Close to town and all the 4 wheel trails we did. They have a laundry room to share, but the other unit never would let us in to use it as they locked our side for our entire stay. I would stay at this cabin again it was perfect for our family.

Beautiful surroundings, breathtaking EVERY DAY

  • 4 of 5

Only down fall was that it was difficult to regulate temp of complex. We just cracked windows at night.

Just keep in mind, small kitchen, no pantry area, so bring bins to store food. Other than that we absolutely loved the property, four plex. Very clean.

We will definitely be returning.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed our place. As mentioned in our information guide, our place is heated with radiant floor heat. It is slow to heat up and slow to cool down. It's best just to set it at about 70 degrees and leave it. Regarding the smaller kitchen. For our personal use, we find it best to bring prepared meals when practical, reheat them, and spend limited vacation time doing adventurous things instead of cooking.

A+ Leadville aaccomodations

  • 5 of 5

My family and I absolutely loved staying here. The townhouse was pristine and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A few minutes from town, the mountain views and surroundings are picturesque and felt secluded. Steve was wonderful to rent from and contacted me because I left something. I will definitely come back.

About Steve and Laura Tkach

Steve & Laura have lived in Colorado since 1986. We came for the mountains, the climate, and the adventures of the west. We have enjoyed hiking, hut-to-hut skiing, backpacking, rafting, down hill skiing, x-country skiing, climbing 14 teeners, thermal hot springs, biking, mountain vistas, fall color changes, thunderstorms and lightening strikes, deep peaceful snows, peach festivals, chocolate festivals, beer festivals, concerts, and more.

Steve and Laura Tkach purchased this condo in 1996

Why Steve and Laura Tkach chose Leadville

Steve & Laura purchased the home in 1996 so our newborn son would have a place to create a lifetime of childhood adventures. It's a place where we could enjoy the outdoors without crowds and build memories with friends and family.
