Whistler Peak Lodge is enviably situated in the heart of Whistler Village, with grounds that include a fitness room for your morning workouts and ski/bike storage. The Whistler Village Gondola, the Excalibur Gondola, and the Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift are all within a quarter-mile stroll. If downhill skiing isn't your activity of choice, you can snowshoe, cross country ski, or peruse the many shops and restaurants that await practically outside your door. Come summer, take your pick of gorgeous hiking and biking trails and soak up the picturesque scenery. For a bit more action, take a thrilling zipline tour with Ziptrek Encounters (home of the longest zipline in Canada and the United States), conveniently located just over half a mile away.

Great unit, lots of space, quiet, easy to get to everything in and around the village. Downside is bedroom is upstairs with poor air conditioning making it a hot night. Also bathroom is on main floor making a decent walk at night if you have to go.

Unfortunately disappointing

When arriving after a long drive to the hotel. We came to a tub that was cracked. And with hair in it as if it wasn't washed. Called front desk he said take pictures of everything and they offered for us to use the shower in the room next to us. It was already 1130pm and I didn't want to take all my things next door as if it was a hostel. I used my slipper and took a quick shower. Then I got a stained towel which was nasty. We originally paid extra for a king size bed. They told us to call the next morning to speak with the property manager Hannah. This was not a pleasant experience. She went on to tell me what there protocols were and that the pictures doesn't match what the cleaning crew sent. At this point I was looking for a solution and all she could offer was 50% of the 1st refunded and cleaning services. And she said that was going above and beyond. I was like no. Then she said she could move us to a two bedroom for more space on a queen/double bed. And a discount to stay with them again. Which is stupid when I paid extra for a king since my bf can't fit on a queen. And im not even mentioning all the other stuff that wasnt up to par. When I told there that's not a suitable solution she's said we are going around in circles. I said if you aren't able to provide a king bed it's pointless. Why would we need two rooms?! She agreed to give me a refund for our first night after so much back and forth and said thats again the best they can do. She acknowledged about the tub being broken yet still booked the room and have the audacity to ask if we hit getting into the tub to make it worse. I was like no that's why I asked your front desk person to come check it right away and he said take pictures which i did.. I personally would NOT ever stay here again. This was my bf first time to whistler coming from Jamaica. And what an awful experience. Luckily the outdoor experience in whistler was good. Very disappointed. And would not recommend

Easy improvements

The location is prime. The lodge itself is a bit underwhelming. Furniture is super old. The bath tub is not the cleanest. The hot tub downstairs is almost unusable and borderline disgusting. We couldn't figure out the fire place even though we called the front desk (although the staff were very nice) Will I stay here again? Only if this is my only choice (price and availability)

Clean, efficient, but dated and a bit noisy late at night

This property is well located, just at the entrance to the village. Loved the convenience of having the kitchen, tv, fireplace and bathroom on the same level, while the bedroom was on another level. The kitchen had every amenity we needed and some I had never thought of. Bed was super comfy! Hot tub was a little cooler than most, but clean and quiet. It was out second stay and we will return, someday soon.

Most convenient

In the village center and convenient. Supper clean. Loved everything about our stay there except the AC. It was very hot at the time of our visit and the AC unit was not powerful enough to cool the whole place. The bed was on a loft and the cool air did not reach up there to keep us cool.

It was nice that is was close to everything Was able to enjoy all of the whistler day fun and night life with out having to worry about getting back safe Only down fall I had to clean the bathtub before use and the kitchen cabinets and dishes were dirty
