Ned and Kirsten live just outside of Denver and recently fell in love with the exciting, central LoDo/Riverfront Park location. We have three other VRBO properties--a two-bedroom Denver condo and also ski condos in Breckenridge and Winter Park--and we're thrilled this beautiful condo and its location right in the heart of downtown.

Why Kirsten Liston chose LoDo

Glass House has the greatest views of the Denver skyline and the best pool/picnic deck of any building in Denver. And the location is perfect, right on a park and just a short walk to downtown or the Highlands. We've looked at most buildings in Denver and decided nothing matched Glass House for elegance, location, views, and conveniences.

What makes this condo unique

We looked at multiple units in Glass House over the last year and patiently waited for the perfect opportunity. Many units had less appealing views or floor plans. Some had had great views and layouts but were on such high floors that the idea of stepping onto (or even near) the balcony was a scary prospect. Our unit is on the 9th floor facing the Denver Skyline and overlooking the Union Station development; with the pool deck right below on the 8th floor, the balcony feels much more comfortable. The trees and landscaping of the 8th-floor deck add visual interest and a sense that you're still part of the natural world. And the views are unbeatable.

Mixed feelings on unit.

The building is great, the location of Glass House & view from the unit very nice. The appointments in the unit however leave a lot to be desired. The queen sized bed is extremely low & the bedding is hard to believe for a unit described as luxury. There is no furniture in the bedroom except the aforementioned bed & 2 plastic end-tables. There is a glass-top table in the living room that is an accident waiting to happen given the room's small dimensions & narrow traffic access around it. Overall lighting in the unit is poor particularly in the bedroom & shower.

Owner's Response: Thanks, Paul, for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the building, location, and view, but disappointed to hear that some aspects of the experience weren't to your liking, as we tried hard to respond to your questions and requests during your stay. It's true that the unit is furnished in more of a modern, spare style, which we enjoy, but it sounds as though that style isn't to your liking. (And we like the bedding very much, but again the style may be a matter of preference.) Some of the lights do have built-in dimmer switches and must be pushed a few times to be brought up to full brightness, so I wonder if that contributed to the issue? We do feel confident that the coffee table is safe, since the top is heavy glass and was designed to be used specifically in that configuration. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Denver overall.

Great Stay in LoDo

Attentive owners. Fabulous location. Good restaurants aplenty and nearby. Can walk to many of Denver's main attractions. Building is very well run. Great to have parking in building. Gym is in building and not crowded at all. Very dog friendly - park across the street and dog park two blocks away. Residents are friendly and courteous. Great views. Denver's most happening location. Unit has all essentials and is very comfortable. Highly recommend and would certainly rent again!!!

quiet living in Denver

Unit 921 in the Glass House maybe small but the space is efficiently used and comfortable. A designated indoor parking space is a real plus. The elevators respond quickly. The attached health club is easy to access and has numerous machines as well as free weights. The kitchen is very well equipped with cookware, utensils, silverware, dishes etc. The owners are responsive to all inquiries. Definitely recommend this unit. We rented for a month and enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my time at the Glass House and found it to be a perfect location in the heart of downtown Denver. The inclusion of the parking space and gym membership were a big plus. The residents were very friendly and owners were excellent to work with.

Hoping to return next summer. Great property!

Fantastic city view of the evolving Denver skyline. From 8th-floor community deck there are grills, a fire pit, a pool, lounge chairs, picnic area, home theater, coffee, breakfast on weekends, and from the other side of the lounge there are great views of the mountains, Riverfront Park, and the trendy Denver Highlands neighborhood. Right in the heart of the new Denver transportation hub, with light rail and buses to all areas of Denver and the surrounding areas. In the center of everything, you can walk to Denver's best restaurants, bars, theaters, shopping, REI, the Platte River, Cherry Creek, the restaurants and coffee shops of the Highlands. Glass House is right on Riverfront park, a large park of trees, hills, paths, and the Platte River running through it.
