Perfect multiple couples get away home

Excellent place!

This is the perfect place for a family to stay equipt with high chairs, portable cribs, kids toys and a fenced yard. Place was clean and had all the necessities. Close to all the attractions of San Diego. Julie was so easy to work with. You won't be disappointed with this place.

Great house!

We loved our stay in this very cozy house! It was decorated nicely, in pristine condition and in a nice neighborhood. My kids loved playing pool with our friends and they enjoyed playing in the yard. Julie was so responsive throughout the whole process and so nice. Thank you Julie for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

Limited parking was an issue.Grocery store approx 5 miles away,park too.kitchen well stocked ,master bed suite very nice too.All bedrooms upstairs.We left a day early,due to soccer tournament location, but that was because of timing.thanks!

Nice Owner

During our stay there the owner was very responsive, and made sure our stay was comfortable as possible with kids. My kids absolutely love the little play room at the house, and it was a memory to remember. We were able to park in the garage to unload groceries so we do not have to worry about our kids in driveway as they are safely inside the house. We had the owner cook us dinner one night that was amazingly delicious! Thank you so much!

Excellent place

Actually Stayed here in March 2014(but never got around to writing a review at the time) with my sister and her 3 kids along with 3 children and had a blast. Owner was excellent and very responsive. House was clean and very well kept. Neighborhood perfect. Not too far from attractions. Didn't have to worry about kids being too loud in a hotel and disturbing other people. Kids have allergies to alot of foods so it was nice to be able to cook something at home for them and take with us rather than worry about where to find food. Would definitely come back here again!

Perfect house & perfect location

We rented this house over Thanksgiving week. We drove up from the bay area. I had family flying in from Mexico. My daughter was playing in the Surf Cup soccer tournament at the polo fields. My son lives in San Diego and EVERYTHING TURNED OUT PERFECT! This house is at a great location - 10 minutes from the polo fields, 15-20 from the airport, 5 minutes from the grocery store. Everyone got their own rooms. Everyone enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen is very spacious. Big TV to watch the football games. Nice big backyard with a grill. Most definitely would rent this house again! Thanks Julie…you are a great host!!!

BEAUTIFUL home! Home away from home!!!

This is a beautiful home! Centrally located for the attractions we had planned (Legoland, San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Beach, Seaport Village), we even ventured out to L.A. for a day. The owner has thought of everything, the kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals, even stocked with milk, eggs and bread. The house was in great condition, clean and ready for us when we arrived. Julie was easy to communicate with and responded to all my questions promptly. I highly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to San Diego. The house was perfect for 2 families (4 adults, 3 teenagers and one small child). The kids enjoyed the pool table and the Wii. The backyard is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the mornings and/or a glass of wine in the evenings. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the area is nice for a morning stroll down Sorento Valley. Definitely one of the nicest homes we have stayed in using VRBO.

Great for families.

Three generations stayed here for a family wedding. The enclosed backyard, beach stuff, and the special small play area under the stairs were great for little kids. High chairs, stair gate, and options for kids sleeping arrangements (crib, pack and play, spare, kid size mattress) made it perfect for our family. Beach stuff included lots of beach toys, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas. The pool table was a good distraction when needed. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. The family room is comfortable. It is close to major routes. If we return to San Diego we'll definitely check for availability.

Lovely home, comfortable stay

Our home away from home! We had a large group (adults and young kids) and we were comfortable as the house was spacious and clean. It was a very thoughtful gesture and definitely an added bonus for us, for the owner to provide organic eggs, milk, butter and bread already in the fridge. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to Sea World and the zoo. We were very pleased with our stay and will reserve this house again in the near future.

Great, spacious house. Everything you could need.

We stayed at the house over Labor Day weekend. It was a great stay with plenty of beds! Very spacious and the pool table kept people entertained for the times we were at the house. Great location and not too far from downtown San Diego. We had 2 small dogs and there were dog gates provided for us! Would recommend staying here.

Clean, well kept, confortable home!

This home was very clean and comfortable. Julie was great to work with and very helpful! We enjoyed the location- it was about a 20 min drive to zoo, downtown, etc. Much closer to La Jolla which had great restaurants and the sea lions. We would definitely recommend this home for families!

Clean, Comfortable and Centrally located

We loved our stay! Our family of 10 chose to go to Legoland, Sea World, and a beach. All were a hop, skip and a jump from this home. Our 4 grandchildren loved the secret space under the stairs! And silly as it may sound, the adults loved the dining room table. The large squared shape made it very convenient to have easy conversations. Thank you for providing a clean, and comfortable home in a quiet and safe neighborhood for us to use while enjoying our summer "family" vacation. Awesome!

House was exactly as pictured.

The location of the house was perfect! Just far enough to "get away" and close enough to take a short drive into the popular areas of San Diego. My family ranged in age from 6 to 65 and everyone enjoyed a pleasant stay. When I reached out to the home owner, she responded immediately and was very pleasant and accommodating. The house had everything we needed from towels to dishes. Great house, great location, great host!

Breeders Cup Vacation

8 of us shared this beautiful house. We had ample space and privacy if we needed it. We had everything we needed as far as bath and kitchen needs. We were there for the Breeders Cup races so we did not spend much time during the day at the house, but we did spend the evenings around the dining room and pool table. We had a great time with great accommodations.

A wonderful house in a great location!

We had a great time staying at this house in San Diego! Our group consisted of four families with young children (ages 2 to 7). There was ample room for all of us with extra mattresses, blankets, etc. for all adults and children. The house was clean, well organized, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked with utensils, cups, etc. to meet all of our needs. The kids especially loved the small play room under the stairs! The weather was great while we were there so we took full advantage of the well manicured grassy backyard and the BBQ. The location of this property is perfect as it allows you to easily access the beautiful beaches of North County (Solano Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad) and Legoland while also being very close to all that the greater downtown area has to offer (the Gaslamp district, Balboa Park, Coronado). The neighborhood was quiet, easily accessed via the freeway, and had ample parking. We can't wait to stay at this property again!

Couldn't have asked for more!

Our family of 11 (included my mother in law, my wife and I, our kids, one daughter in law and our grandson) all slept very comfortably on the wonderful beds and found the three very well kept bathrooms more than enough for all the gals to ready themselves for all the events we attended in town. The kitchen was very well furnished with all the tools we needed for full meals. Absolutely everything was at hand, even small things like scissors, tape, pliers, towels for the beach, the list could just go on. All that to say we could not be happier with the complete package that is this home. Our eldest son said it best "That place was awesome".

Spacious and Convenient Home

I rented this property for my family (2 adults and 2 kids), and 3 other couples. It was the perfect amount of space and even bigger than it looked in pictures. The pool table was a nice touch as well. The kitchen was big and spacious and the backyard was perfect for hanging out and playing games in the evening. It is also a great location near the freeway and other shopping. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property and would rent again if we go back.

Impressive

Julie is a delight to work with and so kind! There was plenty of room for all of us and the house is so comfortable and spacious. There are plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The storage is amazing and we had room for everything! I can't wait to return!

Comfortable and Relaxing experience

Julie was such a sweet person to work with. She was kind enough to bring us milk, eggs, etc before we arrived. The home was so comfortable and cozy. My family and I felt like we were at home. Large beds in each and every room. Not only that the kitchen was fully equipped with everything us islanders needed to BBQ, thanks for allowing us to stay at your home Julie! 🏝😊👌

Perfect area, only 4 miles to the beach and is sunny nearly everyday! High above the Penasquitos preserve where there is hiking and mountain biking. 15 minutes to airport and downtown. 1 hour to local mountains and 70 minutes to Disneyland and 30 minutes to US/Mexico border. Close to everything and if you do not want to drive, the Coaster is only 2 miles down the road, free parking and a short train ride to north county and to Downtown.

Less expensive that renting on the water and only 4 miles to the beach. about 1 hour to the local mountains. close to everything in San Diego, 15 minutes to the Zoo, Balboa Park and the airport. Also consider taking the Coaster, it is 2 miles from the property with free daily parking and it will take you to Old Town, Downtown and Del Mar. You can also take the trolly line from the Coaster to numerous San Diego sites. Large space for larger families. Save money by cooking at home, sure San Diego has great restaurants but it can be very expensive with a big group.
