Brand new listing! Sunshine Cottage is the perfect little spot for a fun filled vacation just steps away from everything. It’s Located in a residential neighborhood just one block from the vibrant Lakeside business district, you’re centrally located near Muskegon’s best local spots and endless outdoor fun.

Sunshine Cottage is the front unit in a 2 unit duplex. The units have separate entrances, parking and yard spaces.

Living space: The cottage’s interior has been fully updated, with both modern and vintage touches: featuring a cozy, comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, black out blinds and a 43 inch smart tv. The brand new kitchen, with striking navy and white cabinetry, Corian countertops, and open shelving is perfect for cooking meals, stocked it with everything a guest might need: a microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher are included.
Laundry facilities: Our dedicated laundry room features a high-end Speed Queen washer/dryer and a hand steamer.
Relax & Play: Unwind in the main living space with a collection of games and puzzles, or head to the private yard featuring comfortable outdoor furniture. The main living space includes a living room area, a work space with a desk, a dining table and a 50 inch smart tv. Tucked in the corner is an adult, queen sized bunk bed for additional sleeping. Sunshine Cottage has central air conditioning throughout the unit.
Beach Ready: We provide the beach towels and 2 chairs.

You truly cannot beat this spot. Whether you want to explore on foot, by bike, or by boat, it’s all at your doorstep:

The Muskegon Lakeshore Trail (Directly Across the Street): 12 miles of paved bliss for biking, jogging, or walking. Follow it straight into downtown to visit the Muskegon Farmers’s Market.

Lakeside Business District (1 Block Away): Grab a coffee or browse local boutiques and restaurants.

Pere Marquette Beach (2.9 Miles): Spend your day on the sugar-sand shores of Lake Michigan.

Outdoor Fun (0.5 Miles): Walk to McGraft Park for pickleball, disc golf, shuffleboard, and more.

Lake Express Ferry (Across the Street): Perfect for those arriving via the high-speed ferry from Milwaukee.

We were the Lakeside first guest since Veronica made her place available. The little cottage was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed to complete our family vacation. The best part was that it was close to Lake Michigan, where we spent lots of time.

We enjoyed staying in this lovely cottage. The rooms were comfortable and met all of our needs. The linens and bedding were top notch. It felt like our home away from home. I would love to see some local art on the walls. We also enjoyed the outdoor property. The fresh herbs were a great touch. The location was close to many activities and attractions( walking/ bike trails, bike rentals and sunset boat cruise)

Thank you, Melissa for your kind words. I’m glad you had a nice time at the cottage and visiting Muskegon. I hope you will visit again soon. I would also love to have some local art on the walls. Unfortunately, with plaster walls it’s tricky to hang them without them coming down. I haven’t had good luck.

First of all Vanessa was a top notch host and very support. Her communication was amazing. The cottage is so cute and charming and met every need we had. It is close to everything . If you are going to stay in Muskegon this is your place. We will be staying again for sure next year.

I chose this area for my rental property because I love the Lakeside area and because I enjoy it myself. It’s a great place for a fun vacation. I love everything about Lakeside but I especially love the friendly people. I also love walking to all the shops and riding my bike on the bike trail . I love going to the beach and watching the sunsets. Summers in West Michigan can’t be beat, Lakeside is a really great place.

My property is unique because I added the extra little touches to make it special. I tried to think of everything a guest may need to be comfortable..It’s also extremely clean and cared for.
