Overview

About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-8)

Copper One Lodge is the best location at Copper Mountain Resort. Closest to the lifts and in the Center of the Center Village. Aptly named Copper One Lodge. This is where the lift ticket window and equipment rental shop is located in Copper Mountain. Our condo is attached to the conference center where there is a business center, if you need to print or fax something, and day care for the little ones. Step out the front door and you're in the 'Burning Stones' plaza, the focal point of this European-designed pedestrian village complete with great restaurants, great bars, retail shops, coffee shops, grocery store and the amazing Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

You will love this condo. It's larger than a 2 bedroom condo, but rents for less! Our condo has two full baths and comfortably sleeps 6-8. There's a king size bed in the master suite, queen size Murphy bed in the den and two queen sleeper sofas in living room. We have a full kitchen, gas log fireplace, cable TV and an outdoor patio.

Store your boards in the ski locker located inside the front door of the condo with the closest residence entrance to the ski lifts in the Center Village at Copper.

You can arrive in a blizzard and park your car in the heated underground parking garage near the elevator that takes you to your personal retreat, without stepping in snow, when you choose this condo.

Copper One Lodge has an outdoor hot tub, steam room, fitness area, heated underground parking, ice machine and laundry facilities just down the hall.

Stroll the quaint pedestrian village without having to worry about traffic. The streets are heated so there's no ice to slip on. If you want to slip around on the ice, you can rents ice skates at the shop on the lake when it's frozen.

Copper Mountain, with its 20 lifts criss-crossing 2465 acres, is 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States', according to the US Forest Service. With its 2600 vertical feet of cruisers, bowls, glades, parks and pipes and superb ski school, Copper has something for everyone. Intrawest and the same designers responsible for the famous Whistler and Mount Tremblant Resorts spearheaded a $500 million Renaissance that transformed the perfect ski mountain into the perfect ski resort. The resort is conveniently located 75 miles west of Denver and Denver International Airport on I-70. We are about 20 minutes from Breckenridge and Keystone, 25 minutes from Vail. Copper Mountain is just off I-70 so it's easy to get to, even in a blizzard. Copper has a free shuttle service if you want to head to the East Village for tubing. The Summit Stage is a free shuttle service that takes you anywhere in Summit County.

About Ron Meepos

We have owned and rent the condo just 2 doors down the hall for 12 years now. Please check our listing # 71024 to see what our guests, people we don't know personally, have said in their own words about their experience dealing with us. We live in Golden and have skied all over Colorado and California. We love Copper!

Ron Meepos purchased this condo in 2010

Why Ron Meepos chose Northwest

We don't like walking in our ski boots. This is the only building we looked at when looking to purchase at Copper Mountain. There is no better location and no better place to ski our opinion.

What makes this condo unique

Unlike the 2 bedroom condos this condo is very spacious, with an open kitchen/dining/family/great room.

Great!

Stay was great. Clean, well stocked with dishes, towels, utensils. King bed and Murphy bed terrific. Only downside was couches with fold out beds-these need to be replaced badly. Location is perfect

Simply Awesome

  • 5 of 5

I'm originally from Japan, lived in Boulder 1998-2004. When I was organizing a reunion w/my friends from college, this place was miraculously available. Every single friend of mine LOVEed the place, and so did I. So close to American Eagle, no hassle walking to American Flyer.

Fireplace in the room helped dry our boots fast. We all enjoyed communal hot tub. Washer/Dryer are a few steps away from the room.

That owner Ron Meepos greeted us at the condo and helped us w/the luggage checking in made me feel relieved having flown into DIA from Japan the night before.

What else can I say?

Great location, can't get closer to center village lifts.

  • 5 of 5

Very spacious for a one bedroom. The den with Murphy bed allowed four to sleep comfortably and still have plenty of space to spread out.

Ron was great to work with. Provided simple instructions to check in and even texted me to make sure everything went well when we got there. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location: heart of Copper Village. Spacious & enjoyable. Owner VERY helpful & considerate!

  • 5 of 5

Fabulous location in the middle of everything at Copper Mountain - shops, bars, restaurants all within feet of the entrance! 2 or 3 sips of coffee from the lifts and rentals in the morning. Plenty of room for 6-8 people with 2 full baths and beds for 8 if needed and professionally cleaned. Pretty much everything you need for a fabulous trip to Copper Mountain was in the condo, the building, or an arm's reach of the front door. Owner (Ron) was easy to deal with and pretty much on-the-spot whenever we reached out to him by email or cell phone. He was also VERY accommodating and kind to us when mother nature dealt us massive snow, and we were stranded behind an avalanche on I-70. Fortunately there was a one-day gap in rentals on his condo, and Ron stepped up quickly to keep the four of us out of the cold or on the streets looking for a place to stay on short notice - THANKS RON! Another small thing that I loved were the house rules. There were only two rules (not the annoying list of this, that, everything that some VRBOs come with) - and one of the rules was to HAVE FUN! Refreshing!!! A really great place that I would highly recommend to anyone who was interested.

Convenient, Clean and Quiet!

  • 5 of 5

I went on a ski trip after the holidays with my adult son and daughter (21 and 19 years old). The condo was great! Loved the underground heated parking, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a college ski club staying in the Copper One at the same as we rented - even though we saw them in the hot tub (too many for us to get in :), we never heard any noise except the live music from Jack's pub below us, from 3-6 PM each night. Not a big deal. The location is perfect - coffee and cookies right around the corner, ski rentals around the other corner, and the ski lockers were very convenient. Easy to pop off the slopes for lunch if you want. One reviewer said not truly ski in/ski out, but I suppose if you count about 50 steps to the snow from the ski locker, you are technically correct. But I call it ski in and ski out! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations! Only tip I can think of to improve would be to add a dresser in the bedroom, and a cabinet/table in the bathrooms. There was no place to lay the sundries.
