Our 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has been recently renovated throughout. The master bedroom is very spacious with a sitting area and large bathroom. 3 of the four bedrooms have flat screen TVs. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large dining area that seat 8 comfortably. There is a bonus sitting room with a desk and printer for your use, as well as a large mudroom to hang skis and keep winter wear. The backyard has 2 great seating areas and a BBQ. The Urban Trail, which extends for over 50 miles through and around Flagstaff is located 2 houses down and is great for walking, running or biking. Thorpe Park is just 2 blocks away and has tennis, handball, basketball, baseball fields and a dog park. Many music venues are hosted here. The heart of downtown Flagstaff is less than a mile away. The backyard is spacious and private with gas BBQ and lots of seating. We are located in a perfect spot to explore the Grand Canyon or Sedona, ski Snowbowl, visit NAU, or enjoy the unique town and great dining in Flagstaff.

About Nancy Gunderson

Our family of 6 lives in Phoenix and just recently purchased and renovated this home in Flagstaff. We love the Flagstaff area, offering skiing in the winter, and a respite from the hot summers in Phoenix. We are big outdoors people and enjoy all of the hiking and biking opportunities the area offers. We hope to some day retire here, but until then, we want to share it with others.

Nancy Gunderson purchased this house in 2013

Why Nancy Gunderson chose Coconino Estates

We chose this property because it is in a great neighborhood, within a 10 minute walk to downtown and easy access to the Urban Trail. It's also right off of Hwy 180 which makes it a great location for getting to Snow Bowl and the Grand Canyon. We have a son attending NAU and it's a vey easy ride for him to visit us.

Great rental in Flagstaff

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful and comfortable property in a quiet residential neighborhood with comfortable beds in 4 bedrooms. Lovely breakfast room opens to the backyard patio. Close to the old town section. The owners were great - on top of things and responsive, clearly with pride in this lovely property.

Spacious, well-appointed and great location in Flagstaff!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of three reserved this home to attend the opening reception of the Sue Bennett photography exhibit at the Cline Library on the NAU campus. We were very pleased with this beautiful and spacious home. The location was great with easy access to downtown Flagstaff, the NAU campus and a lovely nearby hiking trail. The large and well appointed kitchen and adjacent dining/living room also provided the perfect place to host several friends for dinner. I only wish it had been cooler so that we could have also enjoyed the fireplace!

Love this house.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Nancy's house the end of October 2017. It's decorated so cute and the furniture is very comfortable. It really felt like home. We did a lot of site seeing in the day and came "home" every night to cook. The kitchen and dining room are very nice. And there are a lot of grocery stores in town to choose from. Since we were there on Halloween, we had fun passing out candy to the "trick-or-treaters". It is a safe family neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Nancy!

Great Flagstaff Get Away

  • 5 of 5

Our family has been to Flagstaff on many occasions and this home was, by far, the most accommodating both in location and appointments. Our son is now attending NAU and we wanted to provide an atmosphere where everyone could 'decompress' and yet congregate under one roof. This home provided a well deserved respite with plenty of private space inside and out. We elected to prepare most of the meals at home in order to reintroduce our son to 'home cooked' fare and found adequate utensils and condiments available. Our only outing was to Casa Duarte (located less than a mile away) which received high praise from our finicky boys. We brought along our two dogs who delighted in the early morning walks along the bike paths as well as access to Thorpe park, all within a two block walking distance. Nancy Gunderson was easy to work with and provided timely information. Thank you, again, for opening your home to us.

Comfortable vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

On top of it's great location and proximity to everything in Flagstaff, the house is well equipped for a large group of people. We were only a group of 5, but 8 adults would easily be comfortable in this home. We were especially grateful for the cooler that is provided. It made the day trip to Page very easy. Wish we could've stayed longer!
