Colorado native, living in New Mexico. We can't make it to Telluride enough to fully take advantage, so we like to share with others. We hope you enjoy the condo and Telluride as much as we do!
Michael purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Michael chose Telluride
It's bright, warm, blocks from lift 7, is right next to Cornet Creek, has wonderful views, a sunny deck, restaurants and activities are all around, but it is slightly off the main strip (Colorado Ave.) so there's some nice privacy.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Excellent condo, close to everything
We love staying at the Sunny Cornet Creek Condo. It's very bright and comfortable, close to everything,
Great value! Good location!
First time in Telluride for a family ski trip. The condo is at a very good location with the Galloping Goose town bus stopping 2 doors and across the street from the condo. And if you wanted to walk to the slope, it is a very short walk to the Coonskin lift chair. No driving necessary.
The condo is well supplied with towels and linen, not short of hot water for showers, lots of kitchen cooking utensils, pot and pans, and essentials. Owner, Michael, is a pleasure to deal with. The description of the condo is accurate. Lovely place!
Fantastic location, clean and cozy
We had a great time at the film festival this year. Eight of us (all adults) stayed in Michael’s home. The house is excellently located near the heart of “downtown” Telluride. The house was cozy, clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. We did a lot of cooking and everything was close at hand. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of linens and towels. WiFi was good. The parking spot was a huge plus. We all loved it and will return next year. Thanksfor everything, Michael!
Great location, great value
This property is located downtown with easy access to everything. The layout is nice with bedrooms on one side and entertaining area on the other. The three bedrooms are very comfortable but I wouldn't count using the pullout couch because as you'd expect it's not comfortable. Michael our contact person was extremely helpful and was very quick with refunding our deposit. Overall the place is excellent for the price we paid. When we return this place will certainly be on our list of properties to consider.
A great experience; perfect location
I rented this lovely condo for 4 nights from July 8 through July 12, 2018. I had never been to Telluride before. The condo was clean and spacious for 5 adults and was well equipped. My husband even got to unwind playing the guitar. It was great to be able to walk everywhere--to the town, the gonodola, and to hikes--after a long drive from the Denver area. Michael was extremely prompt and professional in his communications. The only drawbacks (and Michael did warn us) was that the cable TV was out while we were there and there is a bar/restaurant just below the condo. It can be noisy, but fortunately the bar closes by 11:30 pm and the sound mainly impacted one bedroom. Most nights we were so tired from exploring and hiking, the sound did not keep us awake! I would definitely stay here again if I have the occasion to visit Telluride in the future.
Lovely Space, Central Location
This condo is exactly as advertised. Comfortable retreat for the end of a day out conquering the mountain or, in our case, going to a family wedding and associated functions in Mountain Village. It's a five block walk to the tram that takes you up, and just a few blocks from a grocery store and several restaurants.
The kitchen has plenty of plates and pots and pans; a few spices and seasonings left from days gone by and fully functional. There is a stack of board games which seems to be a requirement in a mountain cabin.
DO BELIEVE the condo's owner when he notes in the listing that the master bedroom is directly above a Telluride night spot. The bar downstairs has thumpity music until midnight, and the white noise generators in every room are helpful but not for light and/or early sleepers. We were so tired from the trip (and the time change) that our first night was pretty rough even though we were forewarned. The shades also do not keep the streetlamp light out of the master bedroom, so if you are looking for a dark quiet place to sleep this may not be the best place for you. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this condo.
