Where do I start?The location is definitely the highlight. We absolutely love this area of Sandestin and always enjoy spending time in Baytowne.The condo itself was clean for the most part, but it was very dark. The main light switches didn’t work, so the only lighting came from a few lamps and the bathroom. On a short vacation, I wasn’t interested in troubleshooting electrical issues.The Wi-Fi was also very poor, and cell service wasn’t much better. I have two different phone providers, and neither had a reliable connection during our stay.The pool area has a lot of potential and is beautiful, but it wasn’t well maintained. The pool had quite a bit of debris and bugs, and once evening came, frogs were everywhere—to the point that they were jumping into the pool. There was also a large hole in the pool deck concrete that should be repaired.I will say the property management team was responsive and pleasant whenever I reached out. However, no maintenance issues were resolved during our stay, and I wasn’t willing to spend my vacation troubleshooting Wi-Fi or light switches.Overall, the location earns high marks, but the condition and maintenance of the property kept this from being a great experience. It was okay, but with a few repairs and better upkeep, it could be much better.
