Hibiscus A202 is ideally located on the second floor of a condominium complex that is constructed of wood and has won architectural awards. It has a lot of character. The beach is beautiful and vast and you will be RIGHT ON IT! Because this is a second floor unit, the view is the best it can be meaning the dunes hide the folks walking on the beach– it is totally private! The dunes are restricted because of the tortoise sanctuary- they won’t bother you – they go towards the ocean and moon, not the condo. You just need to walk on the walkways and not the dunes please.
The dining table seats 8 and is ideally placed directly opposite the gourmet kitchen.
The living room and master bedrooms each have their own doorwalls with ocean front views. The living room doorwall is 15ft and the master is 13ft. This equates to 28 foot of glass overlooking the ocean!
The kitchen is outfitted with all the conveniences of home! Beautiful new cabinets, white quartz counters, and top quality appliances will make meal enjoyable The large refrigerator, cooktop, full size oven, microwave, dishwasher, and garbage disposal are all new.
St. Augustine is a delightful historic destination, with many attractions, walking streets, boutiques, great restaurants, carriage rides, walking tours (ghost walks, pub crawls, food tours), a super outlet mall, river and Intracoastal cruises, parasailing, deep sea fishing, and much more. Golf abounds, both in the St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra areas. The new World Golf Village is just 30 minutes away and dozens of other public and semi public courses are within minutes in several directions! Easy day trips can be made to Daytona and Marineland (about 45 minutes); Disney World and other Orlando theme parks (about 2 hours); the Kennedy Space Center (about 2 hours) and to various parks throughout northern and central Florida.

About Rosalie Rysztak
My name is Rosalie and I live in Michigan with my husband and two kids. We bought this place on the ocean as our second home. My business model is a little different. This is not an investment property for me. It is my second home and we maintain it as such. We hope others will enjoy it as much as we do. I promise quality and cleanliness. We look forward to your stay!
Rosalie Rysztak purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Rosalie Rysztak chose Butler Beach
We love the area and the weather. It is less commercial and more relaxed with lots of great local restaurants and bars. It is close to St. Augustine with all the attractions, historic things such as the fort, carriage rides, walking tours, etc that this area has to offer. We could go to a different restaurant every night and never hit them all. After coming to this area for 7 years, we are still discovering new things to do.
What makes this Condo unique
What is unique about this place is the large doorwalls leading to the huge balcony with great ocean views. The unit is large, well designed and has a great layout. My goal is to have one of the nicest and cleanest condo's on the beach!
Pool / Spa
Local Services & Businesses
Sports & Adventure Activities
First class place.
Loved the location, great view of the ocean. The master bedroom is a suite by it self.
Wonderful & Relaxing Family Beach Trip
Most importantly, the Condo space is clean, modern, elegant, and provides all of the necessities- and many of the niceties you may not expect. The views of the ocean are wonderful. Time spent on the oceanfront deck truly relaxing. The pool areas were all nice (though even the heated pool was chilly). The hot tub is in a nice area, but a little small, for this size complex. When you have it to yourself in those perfect times, it’s fantastic.
The Boardwalk to the beach is long, but the ability to drive and park a 4 wheel drive vehicle on the beach is a game-changer. All of your things, easily at hand. The sheer depth of the beach area is also a major plus. plenty of room for everyone. The cars are well separated from families, and the play area of the beach surface is hard enough for riding a bike or walking/jogging. No special tent rules, so that is nice. But fair warning, a windy stretch of beach, so be prepared to adequately stake everything down. Areas to wash down your family and your beach toys as you come back on the property.
As to the unit itself, some wonderful and thoughtful touches: beach toys, chairs, small cooler, multiple large beach towels, beach cart, etc. Large HD TV’s throughout, lots of seating(even on the deck), well-stocked kitchen, nice (if unduly complicated appliances), reasonably fast internet, comfortable beds and pillows. Walls of glass with great views from the living room and master suite. The master suite and bath are huge and comfortable. Iron and compact board provided, as is a roll-away twin bed. Washer and dryer are large, but easily the loudest laundry units I have ever heard - so use them mindfully as the washing machine sounds approach the landing of a medium size jet!
Overall, let me sum it up by saying this is easily one of the nicest units we have ever rented. We felt the price was reasonable under the circumstances. Check out at 10 am is, in my opinion, unreasonable. But I assume it’s a property-wide policy - noon is much more reasonable. The common areas are looking a little worn, but there are signs of maintenance. You will not be disappointed.
Pretty decor, soothing, extra clean, beautiful view!
Thank you so much Rosalie and Bruce for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us. We enjoyed our two week visit and we were grateful for the room that we had to share with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons who joined us for 5 nights. We also had a visit from our "old" college friends for 2 nights, so it was a joy to share your home with them! We had spectacular weather...70s most days and little rain, so the wonderful beach was a magnet! Enjoyed touring the sights of St. Augustine especially Flagler College, the Castillo, the Alligator Farm, and the Catherdral Basillica of St. Augustine.. We enjoyed meals at OC
Whites, the hotel at Casa Monica(the pear salad was delicious along with their humus!)' Violas pizza. Otherwise we cooked at the wonderfully stocked kitchen! We are just so grateful for the family time that you enabled us to share in your home! Beds were super comfortable and we were thankful for the rollaway for our littlest grandson! They were full of smiles!
Saint Agustine Beach is a quiet gem this time of year and it was wonderful to be away from the heavy traffic of south Florida/Sanibel area that usually go to. Presidents weekend was busy at St. Agustine and the beach was too, but not too crowded.
Thank you again for taking care of all our needs! Can't think of a thing you missed!
Fran and Frank
Dear Fran and Frank,
Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice and thorough review. I shared it with the team (property manager, cleaner, maintenance) that supports us onsite in the complex and we all truly appreciate it. The most important thing to me for my guests is cleanliness. Since you mentioned that, I rest assured our cleaners with lead Cheryl are doing a super job. I'm happy it was a good stay for you and your family. I hope you can make it a habit and come back soon! About 50% of our guests are repeaters and I would love to have you as a repeater! Thanks again!
Our rental was just as described! We could not have been happier with the condo! It worked perfectly for a family of 5! The owner provided everything we could have needed or wanted! It was the perfect getaway for our family!
Great view on the balcony. Well stocked. Lots of room to relax.
Fabulously renovated and outfitted condo right on the dunes with an incredible view !
Just as advertised and more. Rosalie was responsive and clearly cared greatly that her “guests” enjoyed her home away from home as much as her family does. Complex is nice, but the unit itself is superior.
On behalf of the team that takes care of the condo (cleaners, property manager, and me), thank you for this great review! I appreciate your business and hope you'll come back! Have a great holiday!
There are many things to do in the area and great restaurants. The owner will send a list of favorite places upon reservation.
