Welcome to Hi View House, a quiet desert escape in the beautiful Highlands area of Joshua Tree, set on five acres beside the mountains of Joshua Tree National Park. This stylish and comfortable home features a breathtaking panorama overlooking the park's West Entrance and is a true haven for wildlife. Despite its peaceful seclusion, the location is wonderfully convenient—just over three miles from both the West Entrance and the village of Joshua Tree. The shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and other amenities of Yucca Valley are less than 10 miles to the west, while Twentynine Palms is approximately 18 miles to the east.

At home, sip your coffee while watching a spectacular sunrise from the backyard or screened patio, then step inside to prepare breakfast when hunger strikes. The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the living area, dining space, and kitchen, making it ideal for gathering together. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, warm butcher-block countertops, and ample cabinetry for preparing everything from simple snacks to full meals. Enjoy dining indoors at the table or take your meals outside on the patio. After a day exploring the ethereal landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park, return home to unwind in the evening. Stream the latest releases or use the free high-speed WiFi to catch up on remote work at the dedicated workstation. End your day where it began—outside on the patio—this time admiring the clear night sky and toasting to your perfect desert getaway.

This home was perfect for two adult couples. There are two large bedrooms with king beds & bath, one on each wand of the hous, so we had privacy and we were equally pampered. The kitchen & other shared areas were spacious. The back porch is the length of the house & fully enclosed, so you can still enjoy outside time even if weather isn’t perfect. Amazing views, beautiful desert landscaping, close to the park entrance. Just stunning!!

This place was perfect! Located just 5 minutes from the Western entrance to Joshua Tree and amazing views both sunrise and sunset. Star gazing is beautiful! The property is secluded with a variety of cacti to view. Coyote calls are an added asset. The house is so cozy, has everything you need and the screened in porch is a big bonus! The beds are comfortable. You definitely MUST rent a car with all wheel drive, high clearance even better. The roads into the Highlands are not paved and rutted. Always come in through Quail Springs Rd.

Beautiful location, everything was very nice overall.Would have appreciated more responsiveness from owner/company before arrival, roads were a challenge getting to the house (difficult drive) into town, clean overall…. but found hair stuck to shower wall from previous tenant.

This ranks as one of the best short term vacation rentals I have ever stayed in. The outside property and setting was gorgeous and so well cared for. There are so many ways to enjoy the incredible desert view, from a hammock, outside dining table and fire pit to comfortable seating inside the glassed in patio.Inside it was super clean and well decorated. It was also very well stocked, with everything a guest may need during their stay. The kitchen drawers were incredibly well organized. We so appreciated all the nice touches- games, first aid kit, plentiful kitchenware, personal hygiene items. We did not want for anything. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Great property

Although we didn't spend much time at the property due to a wedding, the house was beyond gorgeous and very relaxing. The views are amazing while sitting in the hammock! Would for sure stay here again!
