About Wes Tucker

Wes calls Colorado home and his wife Gerti grew up in Germany, where the two met, although their work with the evangelical church has taken them to Mexico, Germany, as well as 16 years in Lyons, France. They speak these languages! They have two grown adopted sons, one from Mexico and the other from Jamaica. A true united nations family! Wes still works with the church, but his hobby is bluegrass music and his band, Rusty 44, can be heard playing locally in microbreweries, music venues, private parties and churches. Gerti works at the local Mouco Cheese Co. You should really try some of their delicious camembert creations while visiting Ft. Collins, and if you let her know ahead of time, you may just find a sample of this cheese waiting for you in the fridge!

Why Wes Tucker chose Fort Collins

What we love about Ft. Collins is its variety of experiences while still being a relatively small and homey town. The university brings a certain buzz of activity to the area, but the townhome's location on the edge of the city guarantees a peaceful night's sleep and views of the Front Range. It's less than 10 minutes to the heart of the Old Town restaurants, microbreweries, theatres and shopping. The university is just another two minutes further away. Another attractive feature of this area is the Poudre River Canyon nearby the city, which boasts many great hiking trails, rafting possibilities and camping in the Rocky Mountains. Horsetooth Reservoir sits nestled in the foothills above the town and is a great place to boat, fish, cycle and swim. Popular Estes Park is only an hour's drive up Hi-34 out of Loveland. There is also great outlet mall shopping just 15 minutes south of the home on I-25. It's one hour door to door to Denver International Airport. Lastly, we are close to the new oilfield exploration in neighboring Weld County, making access to job sites there effortless.

What makes this townhome unique

If you are without a car, a bus stop 100 yards from the townhome takes you into Ft. Collins Old Town.

Great home base!

  • 5 of 5

This duplex was the perfect spot for my fiancé and I to stay during our quick trip to Fort Collins. About 3 miles on our bikes to the breweries we wanted to go to, so it was perfect. We spent the other day in Estes Park, which was a quick hour away. Great place to sleep for easy access to the town of Ft Collins as well as the highway to get to other Colorado gems. This development is close to the highway, but the traffic noise didn't seem too bothersome. Equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. Again, we weren't in the home much, but it was perfect for our type of weekend getaway. Thanks guys!

Immaculate!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time renting a vacation property. It was excellent! The home was immaculate! I am a bit of a germaphobe, but was 100% Comfortable in this home. It felt new, the area was very quiet, the location was Handy to everything. I was impressed with the decor and the amenities the Home provided. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay there again. I truly believe, it was one of the few times in life where I got way more than I paid for! I would like to thank the owners, for a lovely experience.

Delightful Experience

  • 5 of 5

I rented this town home for a visit with my son who lives in the area but with roommates. This gave us "our own place" for the visit. Everything was easy from the transaction to walking in the front door all the way through our departure. This home has everything you need including washer and dryer. There are even children's and adult books and magazines ready for your down time. There were condiment packages in the fridge had we needed anything. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to main roads.

Very clean close to hwy #25 .

  • 4 of 5

Situated in what looks like a new development. House was very clean all amenities provided. We didnt cook but if you wanted to it looked like the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans an tableware. We had an early flight out of Denver so when I read the property was close to hwy#25 that was appealing. Because of the proximity to freeway, it's noisy especially at night. The queen bed was not the most comfortable so we slept in other bedroom which had twin beds and not as noisy.

It's about a 15 minute drive into downtown Ft. Collins. had breakfast at the rainbow cafe, downtown excellent food very fresh and tasteful. Dinner one night at a Mexican restaurant also downtown, cannot remember name but is was at end of main downtown street at corner. Also excellent food. Stop in at starry night cafe have a coffee and dessert (they make their own) also downtown.

Beautiful hike to horse tooth falls at reservoir was so nice, leaves were changing.
