Cozy town home with two bedrooms and one bath, fully equipped kitchen and relaxing living space and eating area. Private attached garage. Bedrooms with green space views. The master bedroom has a comfy pillow top queen mattress and second bedroom has two comfortable twin, memory foam mattresses and both come with enough warm bedding and pillows. A baby travel crib and a fold out single bed are available upon request if you need more bed space. Dressers and ample closet space in each room. Roomy bathroom includes a large shower and storage cabinets. The living room boasts a comfortable love seat and two very soft Lazy-Boy recliners. The entertainment center has a 24' flat screen HD television with Roku access. Wifi connection is via Comcast. The town home has books, magazines and games for recreation and leisure time. For summer guests, two bicycles will be available for touring the area or trips to Old Town Ft. Collins. The back patio has table and chairs for outdoor eating on the north side of the home, making for cooling shade in the summer. A gas BBQ grill gives the option of outdoor cooking as well. The neighborhood has nice walking paths, a children's playground 8 minutes walk away, plus a canal road that is perfect for longer walks to enjoy mountain views, farmer's fields and lots of fresh air. There is bus service Monday to Saturday every hour just 100 yards from the front door going into Ft. Collins Old Town area.

About Wes Tucker

Wes calls Colorado home and his wife Gerti grew up in Germany, where the two met, although their work with the evangelical church has taken them to Mexico, Germany, as well as 16 years in Lyons, France. They speak these languages! They have two grown adopted sons, one from Mexico and the other from Jamaica. A true united nations family! Wes still works with the church, but his hobby is bluegrass music and his band, Rusty 44, can be heard playing locally in microbreweries, music venues, private parties and churches. Gerti works at the local Mouco Cheese Co. You should really try some of their delicious camembert creations while visiting Ft. Collins, and if you let her know ahead of time, you may just find a sample of this cheese waiting for you in the fridge!

Why Wes Tucker chose Fort Collins

What we love about Ft. Collins is its variety of experiences while still being a relatively small and homey town. The university brings a certain buzz of activity to the area, but the townhome's location on the edge of the city guarantees a peaceful night's sleep and views of the Front Range. It's less than 10 minutes to the heart of the Old Town restaurants, microbreweries, theatres and shopping. The university is just another two minutes further away. Another attractive feature of this area is the Poudre River Canyon nearby the city, which boasts many great hiking trails, rafting possibilities and camping in the Rocky Mountains. Horsetooth Reservoir sits nestled in the foothills above the town and is a great place to boat, fish, cycle and swim. Popular Estes Park is only an hour's drive up Hi-34 out of Loveland. There is also great outlet mall shopping just 15 minutes south of the home on I-25. It's one hour door to door to Denver International Airport. Lastly, we are close to the new oilfield exploration in neighboring Weld County, making access to job sites there effortless.

A new Bus line links our neighborhood with Old Town Ft. Collins with service Monday to Saturday from 6:25 am to 6:25 pm. Buses leave once an hour at 25 minutes after the hour.

Perfect spot - quiet and easy to get to - close to Ft Collins and all their great shops and restaurants. This place has anything and everything you can want. It is so well stocked. And a comfortable bed - something I rarely find when traveling. It is a definite do-over!

Easy, clean, well-stocked, and great location!

The location is great because it's by I-25, in a quiet area, and an easy 20 min bike ride to Old Town with breweries along the way. There were a couple of bikes available with locks, which was great. The townhome was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend in Fort Collins!

This was our second stay here. Owners are very accommodating! The place is just right. Many amenities included. Close to the highway and close to the wonderful town of Fort Collins.

Excellent value

This townhouse was tidy, quiet, and picturesque. We stayed a few days for CSU graduation weekend, and it was only about 10 minutes to campus. The kitchen is well equipped. We would stay here again.

A perfect pre-race retreat!

My family and I recently stayed here before I ran the Horsetooth Half Marathon and it was great! It was clean and very well-stocked! The kitchen and bathroom had everything we could possibly need, the 2nd bedroom had some toys for the kids, and there was even an N64 gaming system which my brother and husband found thoroughly entertaining. :) The location is great for making a quick escape down the interstate, while maintaining close proximity to old town and the reservoir. The addition of a bathtub would be the cherry on the top, but that's because we have small kids. The shower was perfectly nice and worked fine for our one night stay. We would highly recommend this place to friends!
