Thanks Cam for coming with your family. You were perfect guests.
Our family loved our time at Brewster's Lake! The cottage was lovely and comfortable, with a beautiful view off the back deck, and a short walk to the water. There was lots to do, and the beach was just a short canoe ride away. The kids loved chasing frogs and snakes, playing in the sandbox, soaking in the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this place has all the amenities you could ask for, and our host was available and accessible the whole trip! A truly wonderful stay!
Amazing! Lots of things to do, so much fun for kids, the lake is so nice to swim in and they have a weed mat that makes most of the dock area weed free. The host Mary Beth was so helpful. We already rebooked our vacation week for next year! There is a tree frog that lives under the hottub lid and can often be found there in the morning on the right side from where the steps are. Night time is peaceful and very few mosquitos. The property has raspberries growing on it and my kids found so many fossils, insects and more. The property also has a ton of milkweed on it and we saw several monarch butterflies and caterpillars. We all had a fantastic time!
Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Very nice interior and plenty of room to accommodate six adults. The grounds outside needed a good grooming. We saw quite a few garter snakes on the grounds and the deck. The Front porch could use a railing for safety and the back deck railing could also be made a little sturdier for safety. The host responded very promptly to any questions we had.

Lovely property on a pretty little lake offering a clean, modern chalet experience.
This was a lovely spot in autumn for a girls' weekend. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bedrooms are bright, airy and clean. We enjoyed the wi-fi, Netflix and fireplace while lounging on the comfy living room furniture. Took a short 25 minute drive to Scandinave Spa for some relaxation. Enjoyed hiking at the Singhampton Caves Trail - beautiful! In the summer, it would be nice to use the canoe and get out on the lake.

Thanks for staying! It was great to have you. It IS a great place to chill with friends - my favourite pastime on Brewsters Lake.
Beautiful place on the water to unwined and relax from the daily hustle and busel of life. My husband and I enjoyed complete tranquility! We enjoyed cooking outside on the open fire at the nice fire pit area. Short walk to a dock to go canoeing or use the row boat. Unfortunately the weather (raining and really windy) did not fully cooperate with that for us. :) Or if its was nice weather just sit in the anarondike chairs and enjoy the sun and water. The Chalet has a fireplace to cuddle up to and get cozy and warm. If that wasn't enough they have a relaxing hot tub with many jets. Let them work on your muscles. That was mine and my husbands perfect place to relax and unwind. If there was one thing I would change it would be to build a mini privacy fence. When in the hot tub it would be completely private from the home behind. We fully enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thank You for the bottle of wine, that was very thoughtful of you! A very special Thank You to the hosts Mary Beth & Brad for allowing us to enjoy their families Chalet. P.S .Sorry for cooking fish (haddock). LoL Thanks Terry and Rob :)

So glad you enjoyed yourself. Thanks for your comment about the hot tub. We literally got it a week ago. We plan to build and plant landscaping too. I’m glad you enjoyed the bubbly. Its from an award winning winery in the area. Yet another thing to explore. Cheers.
The cottage/home was bright and clean. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, albeit scattered.
The area was very private and guiet. The grass and weeds around the house needed cutting. There was no A/C, however the evenings cooled down for sleeping.
We enjoyed the deck, but wished their was a view of the lake hidden by the trees and bushes. The walk to the dock was a couple of minutes, but through long grass until reaching the stone pathway. The canoes were in excellent condition and we enjoyed them. My son loves fishing and with a great deal of patience, finally caught a large pike. Through no fault of the hosts, the water level was low and the only swimming was a short drive or canoe ride away. There was no raft in the water as pictured on line at the local beach. Unfortunately the mosquitos were bad around the firepit and walking to and from the dock.
We enjoyed the hot tub however the grass and weeds on the grounds and on the stone walkway to it needed cutting.
The hostess was very responsive and helpful.
All in all, it was a nice get-a-way. All that was needed is a little TLC outside.

I’m so sorry that the grass wasn’t cut!! Our grounds person is on a regular schedule and o had no idea that the increased level of rain had affected the lawns so much! It has now been cut Again so sorry!
Cottage is bright and spacious. On quiet lake, excellent for relaxing on the deck, or taking a canoe trip around the lake.
Close enough to small town general stores, walks on the Bruce Trail and dinners in Collingwood.
We had an amazing time enjoying this beautiful and very private property. Cottage is family and kids friendly. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had peaceful and relaxing time. Thank you !
Area is easier to reach, there are many little towns to visit like Collingwood, Blue Mountain, Eugenia, etc. Cottage is big and has everything, quite peaceful.
We had a very peaceful stay at this cottage. The interior of the cottage was very clean. There were canoes to go canoeing on the small lake. Lots of birds and wildlife to see. We did need to be careful walking down the stone path going to the dock because there was a bit of poison ivy on the side of the path. Other than that it was a wonderful anniversary. The owners even had champagne for us. Overall, a lovely place to unwind.

Thanks for coming! Thanks for telling us about the trail!! We are on it!
This property was true to description! We really enjoyed our time and found the cottage to be bright, clean and comfy. The tree house was a great surprise for the kids and the location was close to some great excursions. We would definitely recommend this property.
This is our second time staying here. Great property, lots of room for the kids to run around and play outside and clean comfortable interior. Great lake for fishing, good fire pit and the new tree house was a hit with our boys.

So great to have had you back. The treehouse is a hit. We have had adult appies and drinks out there ourselves!
Very comfortable, well kitted with everything you'd need (except towels), and owners were quick to respond to any questions.

Place are clean when we go in. Bed are comfortable. Surrounding area is also nice. The owner built a treehouse this year and it was amazing! Communication with owner was great, quick respond.
The house on the lake was exactly what we needed. Enjoyed the time spent reading and fishing at the lake and relaxing by the fire! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Welcome to our family cottage! We have been sharing our home away from home since 2008. We absolutely love spending time up there.
Why they chose this property
Having grown up in Barrie, Ontario, our family often travelled to this area for summer and winter fun. In 2006, we found this hidden jewel of a lake, bought some vacant land and started looking at how we could build a four seasons home there. In November 2007, the chalet was built and delivered on a flat bed truck and ‘assembled on site’. We've been offering our home to vacationers since 2008.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy the back patio, amazing firepit on clear night skies. This is a private wildlife preserve - absolutely peaceful as there are no motorized boats allowed on this lake. Enjoy hanging on the lake with our new tinny complete with oars.
