We had family in town and needed enough room for 8 people. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Loved the dog run for our pup. The game room was a huge hit for both grown ups and teenagers. Very close to Island View Park where we spent the day.

The main house was relatively clean; however, the downstairs had a distinct smell to it. The post did not explain that the game room, a bedroom and a bathroom were downstairs and you had to exit the main home to access that additional area. This was dangerous and cumbersome with children. Very disappointed in that. There were a few hand soaps and body washes that were empty. Also, many large spiderwebs on the children’s play area and outside stairs. I did reach out to the hosts twice with zero response. There was no book for guests to see what was around the area or check out instructions. Doors did not close all the way or stay closed, and some sinks did not drain properly. There was also a switch blade knife opened on top of the fridge downstairs. We ended up having a decent time, but very disappointed in the listings lack of information, communication and cleanliness.

We have reviewed the items mentioned, including the downstairs area, exterior stairs and play area, supplies, doors, sinks, and guest information, and are taking steps to address these concerns. We are also reviewing the listing description to make sure the layout and access to the additional downstairs area are clearly communicated to future guests.
