About this property
Slice of Heaven on Pine Creek - unique rustic cabin on 5 acres of land
Camp Skipping Rock is a relaxing space escape from the world - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run free, play cards, sit with your toes in the water, go on short hikes. The camp lies inside of Tiadaghton State Forest. It is on the west side of Pine Creek on the southern end of the "PA Grand Canyon" in the PA Wilds. It is about 300 feet from the cabin door to the creek.
The area is beautiful for paddling, floating, fishing, hiking, biking, rock skipping, dipping your toes, swimming in swimming hole gems, searching for waterfalls. There are hundreds of miles of hiking & mountain bike trails, and some of the best stargazing on the East Coast. There is a 62 mile -rails-to-trails that runs along Pine Creek from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore, PA. The Camp is a relaxing space to sit still - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run around like crazy, play a lot of cards, sit with your toes in the water, go on a short hike.
Tenting - There's a campsite with a picnic bench and fire pit. Also, tons of space outside. Pick a patch of grass, pop up as many tents as you'd like. Do not store any food in the tent!
Please read the room details carefully. this is a unique spot. Note on living room futon -- it's extremely comfortable and the room can be closed off to make it pretty private.

Kitchen / cooking - Small gas stove (do not use oven!), sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave. Charcoal bbq grill. Large grate for campfire cooking. Kitchen fully stocked with cookware, plates, glasses, ice cube trays, etc. You shouldn’t need to bring any kitchenware. Also, there’s an outdoor kitchen! Nothing fancy, but very functional: counter workspace, sink, two propane burners.
