About Louise Connor
We as a family love visiting Ruidoso several times a year. No matter what time of year it is, there is always something to do. We visited for many years prior to purchasing our home. It is a beautiful place!
Louise Connor purchased this House in 2007
Why Louise Connor chose Ruidoso
Our property is unique in that it is so close to everything in town, yet maintains a country feel. If there is a large family visiting, this property is perfect as everyone can do what they want, even if it means doing different things. Golf, shopping, skiing, horseback riding, hiking, etc. It is all close by. It is very inviting and feels like home.
What makes this House unique
There is a front patio, with a swing, and a back porch with comfortable seating for reading, relaxing or napping. The bottom floor is very open so everyone can chat and relax. This really is a beautiful home.

This house was perfect for our big group getaway. Tons of beds and room to move!
Overall, this house was just about perfect for our family of 7. We had room to move around and not be packed on top of one another. The fenced backyard worked great for our mini Aussie, and he did enjoy barking at the deer that came by ever afternoon. It is an older house, but we loved the homey feel. This was a great vacation for us, and we will try to stay here again in the future! Thank you, Connor family!
Perfect For Our Needs
My brother and I wanted to take our families skiing for Spring Break and this house fit the bill. There was plenty of space to spread out and keep everyone contained at the same time. We'll definitely inquire about availability the next time we visit Ruidoso and the surrounding area.
Nice quiet home! A little out dated.
We stayed for 3 nights! The cabin is nice. Very close to store and other things such as food and small shopping.. 10 min from winter park and 45 min from ski Apache. Nice grill on back patio that worked well. Our second night the power went out and stayed out well into the morning. After that the internet/WiFi would no longer work. My biggest problem is i am a football fan and TVs had no antennas to receive local channels and the service provider they have does not show the football games... i went to two local bar and grills and both did not have power. Would strongly suggest updating the internet/tv situation. Other than the tv and power situation, things were nice. We had several deer come in front yard and get close enough to smell your hand. Also saw other wildlife both at cabin and on local hiking trails.overall i would say this is a decent place to spend with family friends for a few days!
Nice place, comfortable. Great location.
Great location - great value!
Our family (8) had a wonderful Spring Break vacation at this home. The fenced in backyard (huge) also allowed our dog to get plenty of exercise and explore. The house is only minutes from everything, groceries, shopping and skiing. We hope to return and build more great memories!
Nice and relaxing
we really enjoyed it nice location relaxed and enjoyed our stay
I am so happy you had a nice time. Please join us again in the future.
There is so much to see and do in and around Ruidoso. The house is conveniently located near Ruidoso Downs, which is famous for horse racing between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Historical Lincoln and Cloudcroft, are both an approximate 30 minute Drive from the home. Ski Apache is also nearby for winter sports. There are amazing hikes all around which include ample opportunity for wildlife viewing, including elk. Capitan, the home of the original Smokey the Bear is about 45 minutes away, and Roswell is approximately one hour away. White Sands Missle Range is also just over one hour away. For those who are up for longer day trips, Carlsbad Caverns is about a three hour drive (175 miles away). A trip to the caverns and back can be easily accomplished in a day.
