Los Molinos 42 is set over three floors:
Front terrace - large front terrace as you enter the property, with table and 4 chairs.
Ground floor - living room/diner and kitchen leading onto a large dining terrace with table and chairs for six, built in charcoal BBQ and stunning sea views. Large Samsung TV (not smart) with USB ports and English TV channels.
Lower ground floor - 2 x twin rooms (one also has a desk), one ensuite bathroom (with bath/over shower) and a family bathroom (with shower) which also has washing machine and tumble drier.
First floor - large double ensuite bedroom (shower) and terrace with sea views.
We bought the property in late 2025 and since then we have been updating and refreshing it ready for 2026 rentals. This is our family holiday home so we have spent a lot of time making this a home from home that we hope others will enjoy too.
Recent Improvements include:
Freshly painted interior throughout and new kitchen tiling
New ceiling fans, smoke detector, fire blanket, extinguisher
Kitchen equipment including a new wine fridge, induction hob, oven and integrated microwave - as well as the standard equipment you'd expect (air fryer, coffee pod machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and plenty of cookware, crockery, utensils, cutlery etc). There are two undercounter fridges with freezer boxes, as well as the wine fridge to keep your fizz chilled.
New rainfall showers and towel radiators in all bathrooms.
New ikea mattresses on all the single beds
New rattan dining table and chairs on BBQ terrace, and 2 x sun loungers and chairs on the master bedroom terrace.
Accessibility- parking is available directly outside the house, but there are a number of steps from the street to the front door. The house is set over 3 floors with one bedroom on the first floor and two on the lower ground. This means there are quite a few steps, so the property may be less suited to guest with mobility issues or very young children. However, we do have integrated stairgates and can provide cot/high chair at a small additional cost.
The property is a 3 min walk to the lovely Los Molinos community pool and bar/restaurant which is open from April to the end of October. Pool access is restricted to Low Molinos owners and guests, via a key fob.
There are 15+ restaurants on site all within 20 mins walk, from traditional Spanish to Thai, Indian, Italian, Eastern European and Mexican. Bellaluz Square with bars and restaurants (The Scotsman, El Bistro, Abela Teresa and Gimlet) is a 6-7 min walk away.
The Grand Hyatt Hotel also offers a number of different dining options (including a lavish Sunday brunch buffet) as well as a spa.
For sporting enthusiasts La Manga Club has 3 golf courses and a Racquets Club with 28+ tennis, padel and pickleball courts. There are weekly tennis and padel academies. There are also a number of junior academies run at La Manga during the summer- tennis, padel, golf and football.
There is a small cove/beach on site (requires a car to access) and further beaches within 15 min drive. We love Calblanque (national park) and Cabo de Palos beaches.
There is a large well equipped Dia supermarket on site at La Manga and an Aldi and Mercadona at Cabo de Palos. There is also on site petrol station which opens long hours and sells all the basics - bread, wine, beer and ice cream!
The beautiful city of Cartagena with its stunning port area and Roman Amphitheatre (and lots of great shops) is 20 mins away and well worth a visit.
We are 35 mins from Murcia Airport and 1hr 15 mins from Alicante Airport. Both airports are an easy drive and we do recommend car hire. A taxi is €65 from Murcia Airport or there is an excellent transfer service for about €17 per person each way. Staying on site is manageable without a car though, and it is easy enough to pick up a taxi from the onsite supermarket to the villa.
