Grreat Home!

We stayed here for two weeks and loved it. The host, maintenance support, and neighbors were great. It's located in a peaceful village with gorgeous views. We didn't want to leave. There is great hiking and bicycling throughout the whole valley and into Strasbourg. The house is furnished with comfortable furniture and quality appliances. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return some day.

Very quietly located house. Everything is there (in the kitchen, bathroom,... very clean and tidy! Only running children on the 1ste floor woke us up every day at 6h30. Maybe they better stay on the ground level...for the rest only positive comments!

Lovely stay in charming Zell!

My family stayed at Karin's VRBO for Christmas 2022 and had a lovely time! Although we were expecting 3 bedrooms, not 2, the house was spacious and well equipped for our needs. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint, with a stunning view over the Black Forest hills from both ends of the street. We could easily walk to the store and into the centre city, which we did several times. Karin was a very helpful and accommodating host - we would certainly stay again if back in the area!

This is a lovely, peaceful appartment with good facilities. However, the vrbo site clearly states it has 3 bedrooms, when it has only 2, with a sofa-bed in the lounge as extra. This should have been made clear, as it could have caused upset. Thankfully our daughter was mature enough to deal with the situation.

Wij waren met 5 personen en hebben het appartement voor 5 nachten gehuurd. Het appartement voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. Het was ruim, licht en zeer proper. Het appartement heeft 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. In de ene slaapkamer staan 2 eenpersoonsbedden, in de andere 2 twijfelaars die tegen elkaar zijn geplaatst waardoor je een super groot bed hebt. In de living staat een 2 persoons slaapbank. De keuken is ruim en heeft alle benodigdheden zoals tassen, borden, kommen. Er zijn 2 ijskasten, elektrisch kookfornuis, een oven, microgolf etc... Hier kom je echt niets te kort! Het appartement is tegen een heuvel gelegen in de laatste straat waardoor het er heel rustig is. Je kan ook genieten op het buitenterras, de tuin is immers prachtig aangelegd. Klein minpuntje misschien was de WiFi die niet zo snel was maar met 4G kom je ook al ver.

Angenehme Unterkunft im Schwarzwald

Schöne, großzĂŒgige, ebenerdig zugĂ€ngliche Wohnung. Gut zugĂ€nglich und nutzbar fĂŒr Rollstuhlfahrer, die sich noch recht gut selbst bewegen können (also auch kleine Strecken zu Fuß gehen können.) Der Bodenbelag jagt Rollstuhlfahrern aber einen Schreck ein. Der PVC Belag ist so weich, dass man glaubt, man hĂ€tte einen platten Reifen. GroßzĂŒgige Ausstattung an HandtĂŒchern und KĂŒchenutensilien. Das WLAN könnte zuverlĂ€ssiger sein, ist aber fĂŒr einen Urlaub ausreichend. Die Einrichtung ist zwar schon etwas Ă€lter, aber trotzdem vollkommen in Ordnung.

Een mooie ontmoeting met het Zwarte Woud

Het Zwarte Woud is een prachtig gebied. De woning ligt in een rustige wijk, bijna aan het eind van een behoorlijk steile helling. Helaas waren er geen drie (zoals omschreven), maar slechts twee slaapkamers. Er is genoeg bergruimte voor kleding. De matrassen zijn goed, maar de kussens veel te zacht. De grote badkamer (met bad, zonder douchewand o.i.d.) is comfortabel. Wasmachine: fijn. Helaas geen wasdroger. In de kleinere douchekamer bleek het water in eerste instantie niet goed weg te lopen waardoor de vloer blank kwam te staan. De eigenaar reageerde prompt en zorgde ervoor dat het probleem 's maandags werd verholpen. De douche is heerlijk! Genoeg borden, bestek, pannen e.d. in de keuken. Fijn dat er 2 koelkasten zijn. Oppervlakkig schoonmaakwerk in orde, het fijnere (onderkant w.c.'s, douche afvoer, in keukenkastjes) helaas niet. Voor de supermarkt, met aparte bakker en slager: ga de helling af en sla linksaf. Na 100 meter doel bereikt. Konuskaart de moeite waard. Treinreis vanuit Haslach naar Konstanz (Baden-Wu. Karte, 1e persoon 24 euro, volgende 7 euro p.p. voor 24 uur reizen) zeer aan te bevelen, evenals bezoeken aan Freudenstadt, Straatsburg en Baden-Baden. De omgeving levert heel veel pittoreske dorpen! Het bezoek aan het openluchtmuseum Vogtsbauernhof was ook heel plezierig.

GerÀumige Wohnung in schöner Wandergegend

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung, wir waren zu viert mit Baby dort und es gab viel Platz und auch genug RĂŒckzugsmöglichkeiten fĂŒr alle. Die vorhandenen ElektrogerĂ€te sind wertig und funktionieren prima. Besonders haben wir uns ĂŒber den Kaffeevollautomaten gefreut. Den ĂŒberdachten Aussenbereich haben wir auch viel genutzt, da es einige heisse Tage gab. Da konnte meine kleine Enkelin ungestört in ihrem Planschbecken spielen. Die BĂ€der sind modern renoviert und gerĂ€umig. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter hat super und zuverlĂ€ssig geklappt. Was mich ein bisschen gestört hat waren die Hinterlassenschaften der Vormieter wie Öle, Essig und andere Lebensmittel. Ich habs lieber wenn jeder seinen Kram wieder mitnimmt und da wĂŒrde ich mal ausmisten. Aber im Gesamtbild ist das nur eine Kleinigkeit. Ansonsten hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald mit einigen schönen Wanderungen. Der Hahn und Henne Weg ist fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen und in Zell kann man sich das passende Geschirr dazu kaufen :-)

Wonderful stay at “Ferienhaus Karin”!

We loved our stay at “Ferienhaus Karin”. The apartment is very clean and has all amenities you can expect. We loved the bright open living areas and slept like babies in the comfy beds. The two bathrooms are very modern and roomy. The kitchen has all utensils you need. We also loved the outside patio and garden area. It is very private and a great place to spend time when temperatures and weather allows. Everything we needed like the bakery and grocery store were in walking distance. Zell am Harmersbach is a beautiful little town exactly as described. We definitely will come back next year in the summer, and have already spoken to the owner, who is very nice and accommodating. 5 Stars from us. Dankeschön!
