Residence "Le Prarion", 4 storeys. On the outskirts, 1 km from the centre of Houches, 50 m from the lake. In the house: lift, storage room for skis. Parking (limited number of spaces). Shop 100 m, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 1 km, bar 100 m, bus stop "Les houches - Le Prarion" 80 m. Golf course (18 hole) 12 km, tennis 300 m, gondola lift 100 m, skisport facilities, ski bus stop 100 m, ski school, cross country ski track 300 m, ice rink 2 km. Nearby attractions: Téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi 9 km, Train du Montenvers - Mer de glace 9.5 km.
3-room apartment 52 m2 on 3rd floor. Very simple furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofabed (140 cm, length 190 cm), TV and flat screen. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 190 cm). 1 small children's room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 190 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, raclette grill). Bathroom, sep. WC. Electric heating. Small balcony 3 m2, south-west facing position. Very beautiful view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, extra). Please note: non-smokers only. TV only FR. Some good things and some bad things

Keys must be collected and dropped off (before 10am) from an office 10 km from the appartment. Arriving and leaving by plane&taxi makes this very difficult. When making the booking this constraint was not identified. On arrival some critical items not provided including duvets, toilet paper/soap and some basic kitchen utensils. Appartment was clean, spacious and very well located, as described. Interhome not initially contactable but did bring duvets on the Monday after arrival.

Some good things and some bad things

Keys must be collected and dropped off (before 10am) from an office 10 km from the appartment. Arriving and leaving by plane & taxi makes this very difficult. Vrbo do not identify this constraint in the booking process but it really affects peoples decision. Also, on arrival some critical items were not provided including duvets for any of the beds, toilet paper/soap and some basic kitchen utensils like ladels to stir food and a dish washing cloth. This was all very disappointing in an expensive appartment. The appartment was clean, very spacious and very well located, as described in the advertisement. Interhome. local agent, were not initially contactable to resolve there duvet problem, but did bring duvets when they were back in office, 2 days after our arrival.

Spacieux, proche des remontées

Appartement agréable, spacieux, cuisine bien équipée, balcon, cave et parking et proche des remontées. Cependant, le ménage doit être amélioré (wc sent l’urine, poussière) les couvertures ne sont pas agréables, investissez dans des couettes.
