We really enjoyed our stay here & would be happy to come back! The space was very clean, kitchen well stocked, AC worked wonderfully, and beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, snorkels) was an added plus! It’s a great spot with easy access to both the north and south shore.

Absolutely incredible property! Everything about it was amazing. From the arrival instructions that were clear, to the amenities that were abundant, this home has it all. We’ll be back for sure because that beach is our new favorite spot and we made some incredible memories. Mahalo!

What a delightful stay! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The home was very clean and we were greeted with flowers and goodies! Such a nice touch! Location was perfect to get to everywhere we needed to go but the best part was the beach steps away. I was there every morning watching the sunrise and sipping my coffee and swimming everyday. It was a magical vacation, we’ll be back for sure.

This property was amazing! It completely exceeded my expectations. It was a short drive from the airport and conveniently located enough to restaurants and grocery shopping in Kapaa and even the North shore. We explored more beaches on the north side but coming back here at the end of the night was perfect. The beach at the cottage was hands down my favorite on the whole island. There was hardly anyone there, the snorkeling was amazing and the proximity was so close! Inside the cottage could not have been more perfect. Everything was so clean, we had all the amenities we wanted and more, and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. We will absolutely be staying here again for the entire duration of our trip next time and highly recommend this place. Mahalo!!!!!! 10/10!

We really enjoyed the Honeymoon Cottage itself. It was beautiful, updated, comfortable, and had thoughtful amenities. The snacks provided were a very nice touch and made us feel welcomed.The host was also very accommodating. She allowed us to check in early on September 6, which was extremely helpful since we had to leave our previous rental that morning, and she allowed us to stay later on September 9 because our flight was not until that evening. We really appreciated both accommodations.Unfortunately, Hurricane Lowell significantly affected our stay. We lost power around 1 p.m. on September 7 due to multiple downed power lines, and it remained out for the rest of our stay. We had no electricity or AC, and being without power from September 7 through September 9 made it very difficult to enjoy the cottage and left us feeling pretty stir-crazy.We understand the storm and outage were outside the host’s control, but the experience and financial impact were also outside of ours. We initially asked about a partial refund and were declined, but after following up and explaining the circumstances, the host ultimately worked with us and provided a partial refund, which we appreciated.Overall, the cottage was lovely and thoughtfully prepared. The hurricane unfortunately overshadowed much of our stay, but we appreciated the host’s flexibility and willingness to work with us.

Mahalo for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the cottage and appreciated its amenities, and the flexibility we were able to provide with your early check-in and late checkout. For context, prior to your arrival I reached out specifically because of the approaching hurricane to ask if you still planned to travel. Had you chosen to cancel, you would have received a full refund. When you confirmed you were still coming, I clearly communicated the possibility of power outages and advised you to prepare with food, water, and other necessities. Because the outage was caused by the hurricane and the risks were communicated in advance, I initially declined the request for compensation. However, after further discussion, and because maintaining positive guest relationships and reviews is important to us, I agreed to a partial refund as a compromise. I’m sorry the storm impacted your stay and am glad you otherwise enjoyed the Honeymoon Cottage.
