Welcome to Casa Jaguar, your own private relaxation oasis conveniently located at the heart of the Columbia River Gorge with a private hot tub and sauna included. Designed and built by our family (your hosts!), this two-bedroom apartment brings you artful luxury with convenient access all the Gorge has to offer.
Your property
Unwind and relax post foil/hike/paddle or wine touring in the private garden complete with 2-person sauna, hot tub and outdoor shower; or grab a deck of cards and settle in for low key game night by the gas fireplace. Playful custom décor makes this upstairs space shine. Laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen (with gorge views!), plus a cozy lounge and workstation make Casa Jaguar your ideal spot to base for a weekend or even longer.
Rock-paper-scissors over which bedroom you prefer—both offer a cozy retreat and their own mini-split for heat/AC. Bedroom 1 features a King Nectar Premier mattress; Bedroom 2 offers a Queen Nectar Hybrid and storage for clothing/personal items.
An open Kitchen + Living Room with plenty of seating turns cooking or snacking in the fully stocked kitchen into a social activity. Before you settle down in front of the 65” smart TV or cozy gas fireplace, don’t forget to take in the view from the kitchen window!
The gorge fun doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down—just downstairs, you’ll have your own private spa and courtyard with a sauna, patio couches, hot tub, and outdoor shower. Grab a bottle of wine or a six-pack from the local brewery and hang under the stars, or chuck on a swimsuit to relax and recover.
In the bathroom, heated floors take the chill out of mornings and evenings. A standing shower with provided body soap, shampoo and conditioner, delivers the perfect post-hike or sauna rinse, with a washer and dryer so you can pack light—or extend your stay.
Casa Jaguar is located in a residential neighborhood (maybe mention something subtle about hearing the train), walking distance from Bingen eateries, coffee, gift shops and a great local farm store; alternatively a short drive to White Salmon, Hood River and recreation, all within a 10-to-15-minute drive.
Need extra space? Consider booking out Casa Flamingo, a separate studio unit located just downstairs. https://vrbo.onelink.me/ItNz/8bovup3b

House was nice, clean and just as the listing showed. Was nice to have our dog with us and the hot tub and sauna were great after a long day. Location was great too!
Highly recommend Casa Jaguar for your home base to explore the Gorge area. The unit is delightful with its Jaguar theme. Everything is brand new and it is so very thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need. Rafa was super helpful, flexible and friendly. The hot tub and sauna are fabulous after long days of hiking, biking, kiting and exploring. The location is perfect, nice and quiet yet close to everything. We would choose this property over a hotel any day! Great job on this Rafa! The care and attention you have put into it shines through!

Why they chose this property
Bingen is a quiet, walkable residential neighborhood that serves as the perfect base for exploring the Columbia River Gorge. While primarily a peaceful residential area, you are just a short walk away from the local shops and eateries in downtown Bingen.
The Gorge Connection White Salmon: Located just a minute up the hill for more dining and stunning Mt. Hood views.
Hood River: A quick 10-minute drive across the bridge to Oregon’s world-famous hub for windsurfing, breweries, and shopping.
The Bingen Experience Living in a historic rail town means the train noise is an authentic part of the atmosphere. You will hear the rumble of freight engines and the occasional horn at crossings. Most locals find it adds a nostalgic, industrial charm to the town, though it's a helpful detail for light sleepers to note!
