Families with children are very welcome—and your four-legged friend (at no extra charge) is also welcome here and can run around freely on our fully fenced property.

WE are renting out our approximately 75-square-meter vacation home; we’re looking forward to welcoming you—and your dogs, too—and can’t wait to hear from you… when will you be spending your vacation with us in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania?

Utilities are included in the rental price. Bed linens and towels are provided FREE OF CHARGE. Free Wi-Fi. Final cleaning costs 50 euros.

Our completely renovated vacation home, “ALTE SCHEUNE,” is available for you. Our location near Rostock offers, above all, a peaceful vacation without having to miss out on the nearby attractions of a vacation in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, such as the beach in Warnemünde.

Our “ALTE SCHEUNE” offers plenty of space on the upper floor for
5 people in three separate bedrooms. In addition to a bedroom with a 180-cm double bed, your children or other guests can rest in two additional bedrooms with 90 x 2.00 m single beds.

On the lower level is the rustic, cozy living room with a large TV and a comfortable seating area offering an unobstructed view of the 1,500-square-meter fenced-in garden, which you can access through double patio doors and a small terrace off the living room.

Our fully equipped kitchen with a modern dining area features a fridge-freezer, stove with oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, and a fully automatic coffee machine for freshly ground coffee at your convenience. Ample dishes, silverware, and pots are, of course, provided.

The ground-floor bathroom with a round shower is functional, offers plenty of light, and is accessible via your entryway. The laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and condenser dryer for your exclusive use, is also located here.

A parking space is available directly in front of the house, and from there you can reach your own entrance to the “ALTE SCHEUNE.”

Our property behind the house, measuring a good 1,500 square meters, is fully fenced and is available for your exclusive use—and your dog(s) are welcome to enjoy it as well.
Numerous seating areas, benches, and lounge chairs on the property are available to you free of charge, as are the various bicycles in the shed.

New this year is our large outdoor kitchen with plenty of space for cozy get-togethers. A grill is also available for a relaxing evening of barbecuing. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the property.

Shopping options such as Netto, Aldi, Edeka, etc., are available in the nearby town of Laage, along with all other necessary amenities.

The S-Bahn is within walking distance (10 min) for a relaxing trip to Rostock or to the beach in Warnemünde.

If you’re just looking for some peace and quiet, head to the swimming lake 200 meters away, which features a small playground and sports facilities.

In town, you can enjoy a nearby wellness oasis during your stay.

Other popular leisure activities, such as the Rostock Zoo, Marlow Bird Park, or KarlsErdbeerhof, are easily accessible via the A19 and A20 highways.

We live in the front house ourselves with our two dogs, and we’re all very sociable—we enjoy sitting down with our guests for a freshly tapped beer from our barn bar (seasonal) or a glass of wine. We’re also happy to provide tips for your personalized leisure activities.
