SUNDIAL RETREAT 3BR 2B House with EV Charging, Hot tub, Large Deck, and Firepit
RECENTLY RENOVATED - Welcome to Sundial Retreat! I am so grateful that you've chosen my home as your basecamp for exploring the magic of Sedona. Whether you're here for adventure, relaxation, or a little of both, I am honored to be part of your journey. Pictures to be updated Late June.
Sundial Retreat is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom desert retreat nestled in the heart of West Sedona, surrounded by the iconic red rock formations that make this corner of Arizona one of the most breathtaking places on Earth. The home was designed with one goal in mind: to bring the outside in and let the desert do what it does best — inspire you.
Step onto the large deck and take in panoramic views of the red rocks. Sink into the hot tub under a blanket of stars. Gather around the firepit as the sun paints the sky in shades of amber and violet. This is outdoor living at its finest — and it's all yours.
We encourage you to slow down during your stay. Wake up with the sunrise off the deck or at the dining room table. Watch the light shift across the canyon walls. Explore a trail. Savor a meal on the deck. Let the desert work its quiet magic on you.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

I really liked the neighborhood as it was quiet and close to trails (Sugarloaf, Devils Bridge, Doe Mtn, Boynton Canyon/Subway Cave) as well as food shopping. So that made it really nice.House was awesome for us. Was roomy and my wife was surprised that the kitchen was so well stocked. She also appreciated the roll-out drawers. The "pub area" was a nice casual spot in the house.I liked the touches of room names and the aztec throw blankets in the living room and a nice size TV.Outdoors was great between the deck, firepit and hot tub.So all-in all a great place. Will come again!
First, upon arrival, the house was clean and exactly like the photos online. There was an excellent book of local activities for us. We really appreciated the suggestions, as we had never traveled to Sedona. It was so much fun exploring all day, beginning with a trip to Sedonuts donut and coffee shop, but the best was sitting on the deck at night looking at the amazing view of Thunder Mountain. When the sun went down, we started the fire in the fire pit and enjoyed all the amazing stars in the sky. The perfect ending to our day. So many fun activities to do in town, including a trip to Vino de Sedona, a local wine bar. This trip was made all the more relaxing because The Sundial Retreat was a comfy and cozy house to return to at night.

David, thanks for such a positive response to the house. I am glad you liked the amenities and some local eateries. You hit two of my favorites. I also like just stargazing at the firepit at night. Its so peaceful. I hope you can return again. Thanks Brian.
Really enjoyed our stay here! The home was very clean. I enjoyed the recent renovations and particularly liked the local artwork, photos and signs in the rooms. The kitchen is well stocked and has a surprising amount of storage! We enjoyed game nights at the pub table. Love the hot tub and out door seating. The photos of the view of the mountain from the back yard don’t do it justice! Brian is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Location is great - close to everything, but being in west Sedona there is less traffic than downtown. Neighborhood is safe and quiet with amazing views. There are 2 foldable desks, so I was able to easily work a few hours easily and comfortably—Thinking of going longer term and working remotely next time! The beds were really comfy, and plenty of closet space. We especially appreciated the black out shades, as the house gets a lot of natural light. We stayed during the fires unfortunately; so some of the hiking was limited. But there was plenty to do indoors— sound healing, massage, float tank, shopping and more. We also explored Cottonwood and Jerome - both must dos! Loved Sundial retreat and Sedona! I will be back for longer next time. Thanks so much Brian!

Maryanne, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, wildfires put a damper on some hiking but glad you were able to still fit a lot in. I hope you can come back again.

About the host
Hosted by Brian B
I am a born and bred Native New Yorker (Queens). I enjoy travel, sightseeing, hiking, nature and just relaxing. I have been to loads of VRBOs, AirBnBs and rentals. Some good and some pretty bad. This is my first adventure into hosting because I wanted to give other fellow traveller's and hikers a great experience. SO I took great care in choosing what I want in a getaway and providing to others.
Why they chose this property
West Sedona is a great neighborhood for so many reasons. The "quiet" is one of the tops. This is not a party neighborhood. It is defintely for relaxing and enjoying. Yet, it is only minutes away from Uptown Sedona, great restaurants, shopping, and also the hiking trails.
What makes this property unique
The property is unique because it is just refurbished and I have added everything new that I can at the moment for indoor and outdoor enjoyment. I even added the EV port for the who are environmentally conscious. Who wants to figure out how to charge your car when you are on vacation?
