As a district of the Baltic Sea resort town of Sellin—though a good 4 km from the town center—the small fishing village of Seedorf stretches along a single village street on the shores of Lake Neuensien. Noise and hustle and bustle are foreign concepts in Seedorf—except for the cries and commotion of the seabirds. Seedorf consists of only a handful of residential and vacation homes, a bakery with goods for daily needs, restaurants—some of which serve truly excellent cuisine—a great fish shop in the picturesque yacht and fishing harbor with fishing boat rentals, and otherwise kilometers of hiking and biking trails along the water and into the beautiful, nature-protected hinterland of Mönchgut and southern Rügen. During the summer months, there is a free shuttle service from Seedorf to Sellin, to the North Beach with its famous pier, and to the South Beach—the main swimming beach—which stretches for kilometers all the way to the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren. During the winter months, travelers can easily walk or bike the 2 km to the “Abzweigung Seedorf” bus stop, where the intercity bus to Bergen and Binz/Sassnitz passes by hourly.

It is located on the first floor, is approximately 37 square meters in size, and features a sleeping loft accessible via a spiral staircase with a double bed and two windows—the front windows offer a view of the water and the landscape stretching all the way to Granitz Castle, while the rear windows showcase the beautiful meadow landscape of Mönchgut. There is a laundry room with coin-operated machines and a drying room in the adjacent building. The property features benches and table sets.
