As we were leaving this sweet little love nest, my partner and I said to each other "yeah, we'd come back here again!". The place is a cozy little retreat, perfect for two. "Bliss" was clean, functional, and comfortable. The bed was perfect for us, comfy and well stocked with fresh linens and blankets. The small AC unit worked surprisingly well, and the tankless water heater supplied endless hot water. Speaking of water, it tasted great - water snob here - and the pressure was really good for a place so high up on a mountain. Our only complaint was the stovetop in the kitchen, as it was hard to operate, and did not seem to crank out the kind on heat we needed. As for the setting, it's really beautiful up there - great location! The mountain views, and the stargazing on the deck was spectacular, and when we go back, hopefully the hot tub will be installed.Lastly - and this is not a criticism of the place, or the hosts - the last 100 yards, or so, on the gravel road are a bit of a challenge, as it's steep, and full of potholes made by spinning wheels. This we solved by giving ourselves plenty of momentum at the bottom of the hill, and maneuvering along the less worn patches of gravel. In other words, if you have a low profile vehicle, you may need to swap it for one a bit more rugged.Overall, this place, and the hosts, are awesome, and we look forward to booking it again soon!
