The'appartamento di charme in stile duplex è situato al pian terreno di Cà Nizza, una antica casa ticinese sapientemente restaurata nel 2022 nel villaggio di Marolta, frazione del comune di Acquarossa in Valle di Blenio. L' Apartment 1789 offers the possibility of a relaxing and regenerating stay in an energetic place, in contact with nature and the traditions of one of the most fascinating valleys of the Southern Alps. The building, built from the end of the 18th century onwards, retains the typical features of the time, with its gneiss beola roof, mighty stone walls, centuries-old larch beams, typical balcony terraces and large stone vaulted cellars.
The flat takes its name from the presence in the living room of an original Pigna (ancient soapstone stove), dating back to 1789, and is characterised by the skilful integration of antique elements (solid granite and wood floors, original ceiling beams, restored doors and details) with the most modern comforts (combined kitchen, open fireplace, bathtub with hydromassage). Even the furnishings are a blend of the traditional and the contemporary: refined and functional at the same time to allow you to fully enjoy the special energy that the house gives off.
The layout is on two floors: kitchen and living room on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms with bathroom on the first floor, all connected by a comfortable solid walnut staircase. The flat also has an outdoor terrace for exclusive use (accessible directly from the living room) from which it is possible to reach the large communal garden of the house. The building's ancient vaulted cellars are also accessible and offer the possibility of serving some local delicacies (cheeses, wines, etc.).
Ideal for couples or families wishing to spend a week or more immersed in the splendid scenery offered by the natural basin in which Marolta is located, in an ancient building full of history, but without sacrificing intimacy and modern comforts.
The location offers countless possibilities for excursions on foot or by mountain bike, either directly from the house or after short trips to the Lukmanier region, the Greina valley or the Nara area.
Marolta can be reached by car. There is a private car park next to the house and a public car park 50 m from Cà Nizza where there is a charging station for electric cars. By public transport, it is possible to reach the Autolinee Bleniesi bus stop in Traversa, which is a 1 km walk away.
