Our 70-square-meter apartment (without a kitchen) consists of a total of 3 rooms. The blue room has its own entrance to the courtyard and garden. The fireplace room features a wood-burning stove, a large glass window, and a cosy lounge area with a TV and stereo system, and our romantic ivy room also has its own entrance from the courtyard and garden.
In 2022, these rooms were renovated with new tiles and interior doors. The bathroom has been completely renovated with additional underfloor heating, an English freestanding bathtub, a shower, an English sink, and a towel warmer.
It is possible to comfortably convert the apartment’s blue room into an additional double room (resulting in 3 double rooms). If you have any additional requests, please feel free to contact us by email or phone at 0174/310 37 67.
Nestled in the heart of the Palatinate Forest lies the Schönbachhof, a paradise for horses and people alike.
The Schönbachhof is the perfect destination for leisure travellers—whether you’re a rider with or without your own horse, a mountain biker, or simply a holidaymaker, hiker, or connoisseur. As a certified trail riding station and MTB-friendly establishment, we’ll show you the most beautiful views and trails in our Palatinate Forest—whether on horseback, by bike, or on foot—off the beaten track and tailored to your individual preferences. For this, we can provide you with customised tours via GPX data. You can also borrow our guest outdoor navigation device with your personalised tour preloaded.
Relax in the special ambiance of our lovingly furnished guest rooms, decorated in an English country house style, and in our picturesque garden. All guests have access to our breakfast room, which offers a generous, upscale breakfast and our dual-zone wine refrigerator stocked with fine Palatinate wines and other drinks.
Or, if you have the necessary riding skills, discover the incomparable Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve and the Dahner Felsenland—with all their castles and bizarre sandstone cliffs—on the back of our well-trained horses, under the expert guidance of a certified mounted nature guide and riding guide (FN). Beginners and advanced riders alike have the opportunity to take professional riding lessons in the Old California Western riding style. Please direct inquiries and bookings for this by phone or email.
Your dog is also very welcome. As a courtesy, we provide dog blankets, bowls, and special towels upon request so that your dog feels just as comfortable as you do.
Curious about us and the Schönbachhof? Then why not stop by and see for yourself—we look forward to seeing you!
Warm regards, the Jutta and Dirk Müller-Weiland family
