House was very clean and conveniently located to schoodic peninsula for any hiking you wanted to do. We loved being able to come back to the house after being around all the crowds in Bar Harbor

What a wonderful find! My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to relax after busy days exploring the surrounding area. I couldn’t recommend this place more! My only regret is not booking an extra day so we could take full advantage of the lake and property.

Absolutely stunning! Only setback was our busy schedule didn’t allow us to spend as much time as we wanted at this amazing property, best host I’ve ever dealt with!

House was very clean and comfortable. There were some basic canned and boxed food items either left by other renters or the owners as well as some condiments. Didn’t use the fire pits but you should bring your own fire wood.

This cabin is the perfect get away from the busy tourist attractions of Acadia. Very clean beautiful private quiet setting. Alex was helpful and responded within minutes. Only an hour drive to get to the park and less than an hour to get to Schoodic Peninsula. I highly recommend this place to escape the business. Thank you for our wonderful 30th anniversary memories! Our stay here was everything one would hope when they dream of a trip to Maine. The setting was perfect. It was quiet. It had everything we needed plus snacks, drinks, and smores supplies - which was an added bonus. We loved every minute of our 2 nights here and wished it could have been longer. Would definitely stay here again!!

An absolutely beautiful setting, the cabin is a perfect getaway if you’re looking for something more remote and away from the summer crowds of Bar Harbor. The host is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area. We enjoyed the fire pit, the canoe, watching the various birds and wildlife, and getting local seafood from Winter Harbor and cooking in a few nights. It’s just a 45 minute drive to Pirates Cove, a great place to play put-put, which is also next to Lobster Pound, great outdoor/indoor restaurant and an ice cream place too, very family friendly! Can’t wait to return.
