Our girls' vacation in the U.P. was wonderful! We stayed at the Blue Heron Cabin in Curtis, and its peaceful lakeside location made for the perfect getaway. The cabin was very reasonably priced, clean, and well-maintained. The beds were incredibly soft and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. We enjoyed several local attractions that were recommended in the "About the Cabin" book, which was a great resource. The host was also very friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the Blue Heron Cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation in the U.P.

Place overall was clean and on a beautiful lake property! There weren’t very many outlets so finding a spot to charge your electronics was a bit tricky. There is also no air conditioning so be prepared for that! But the windows give a nice breeze. There are little dishes and cooking utensils so if you plan on making many dinners I would suggest bringing your own.
