High up over the Caldera with an unique panoramic view over the deep blue Aegean Sea in traditional island style, yet with modern comfort, BRIGA VILLAS is waiting for you. Let yourself be spoiled by the island, the magic light and the unique ambience of the refurbished accomodation.

BRIGA VILLAS is three units that have to be booked separately (or can be booked together for big groups) The units are House, Studio 1 and Studio 2; for details see below.

The Briga Villas are arranged in high quality and tasteful furnishing, with natural light and designer lighting, SAT-TV, DSL- WLAN, etc.

Briga Villas studio 2 has a beautiful sleeping/living room with a double bed, kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. Studio 2’s has a bigger terrace with separate entrance for a bit more privacy. A dining area with table is part of the studio. Studio 1 is also equipped with marble panel heating and floor heating in the bathroom. It is ideal for guests who want to escape from the stress of everyday life to find an oasis of tranquility accompanied by a spectacular view.


The Village Firostefani: The village Firostefani
is a small, quiet and picturesque place, about 800 metres north of Fira.
It has informal taverns, stylish restaurants with international cuisine, cafés and mini-markets.

But if guests want to have a bit more variety, Fira, the main town of the island, is only 10 minutes walk (about 800 metres). Here you will find everything: larger supermarkets, restaurants, cafes (including internet cafes), boutiques, jewellery shops, museums, and also fitness studios.
Fira has a very intensive nightlife with discos and elegant bars which are open almost the whole night (until the sunrise). Some of these continue to be open in the winter season, especially at weekends.

Distances and Travel informations: Distances
The beaches are on the other side of the island (about 3- 6 km) and can be reached by bus or taxi.
You can also rent a car or a motorbike. There are car parking places beside the main road, nearby.

Travel informations
From May until October by charter direct flights from European cities, or all the year via Athens by plane or ferry.

Completely renovated 2008: Briga Villas were completely renovated in 2008, inside with marble floors and outside with 'patito' (typical ecological plaster)

Cutest place with amazing view

This property was so adorable. It was just perfect for what I needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. The view was amazing and the location was perfect. Plenty of things in close proximity. Best of all it was so affordable!

What a Wonderful place and view

We were picked up at the airport, sent by Brigitte our hostess. We met our hostess after the ride from the airport she escorted us to our studio apartment. What an amazing view and unique lodging. Santorini can’t be visited in a better way.

Spectacular Sunset Views

We had an amazing week in Studio #2 with Birgitta and Markus as wonderful hosts. The veranda is a great place to view spectacular sunsets and enjoy morning coffee. The proximity to some great restaurants and shops enhances the whole experience. You can really immerse yourself in the whole Santorini experience by staying in this studio. Thank you to Markus for meeting us streetside and assisting with our luggage and answering all our questions about the island. Cheers, mate!!

Great location and incredible view

This property is perfect for exploring Santorini. It is within walking distance of Fira and Imerovigli , lots of restaurants and some small markets. However, the view cannot be beat. There are other properties in the exact same area that may be a little fancier but for the rate you are being asked to pay there are no other properties that are comparable to this one. The owner was staying on the property while we were there and was always available to answer questions. You will not be disappointed with this property. If you are considering it, book it while it’s available.

My property is more private and not a big and expensive hotel with daily room service, breakfast and jakuzzi and air-condition. It is a cave house, in summer more cool and in winter more warm. As Santorini is a little breathtaking island but which has problems with electricity and water and due to the envirement I think a van will be good enough. Briga Rou

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Blick von der eigenen Terrasse war fantastisch. Die Lage ruhig und doch alles gut errechbar.

Private, Personal, Perfect!

Santorini is increasingly being taken over by bigger hotel/suite businesses, which is fine, if that kind of (expensive) experience is ehat you want. Brigas Villas provide a much more personal and old-school stay in Firostefani (Thira) for MUCH better value. Unbelievably gorgeous vistas from your own private patio, an adorable, authentic cave suite, kitchenette if you want it (and we did, for snacks and morning coffees...), and the chance to chat with Briga and her pup on their daily walks. Very convenient location, great airport connections, etc. But mostly, a warm authentic place to make your own while you take in the beauty of the caldera at very reasonable rates.

Beautiful Firostefani location!

We had a lovely stay at Briga Villa in Firostefani. Our hostess, Birgitta, and her nephew, Markus, helped to make everything work out so well for us. Our view was spectacular, our apartment was private, and being in Firostefani was a very lucky choice for us. It is much calmer than Fira. We recommend this accommodation very highly.

Amazing Stay - Highly Recommend

This property could not have been more perfect! The location was perfect - close walking distance to restaurants and shops in Fira and the local bus station which can take you easily to any part of the Island. The caldera views from the deck of the property were breathtaking, we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the early morning and watching the sunset in the evenings. The room was very clean, and had a great setup for two guests. The hosts were extremely communicative and even accommodated our late arrival and transportation from the airport. I highly recommend this property and host, the Villa was a highlight of our time in Santorini!

Our Birthday getaway

Briga Villas was just what my wife ordered. Brigitta is a lovely host and tendered to all our needs from setting up Airport arrival and Departure Transportation to meeting us street side upon arrival. Be prepared to walk a short distance with luggage on not so flat walkways upon arrival. We chose Studio #2 and views from our private terrace did not disappoint. Location was perfect with eats and shops close by. We will definitely stay with Brigitta again on our next Santorini visit. Thanks again Brigitta!! Eddie and Kathy

Santorini trip

Checkin was a bit of an ordeal however after that stay was wonderful. It is a studio so space is fairly minimal however outside terrace makes up for that. Location is great, just outside the crowds of Fira proper but still close to walk there and very close to some good restaurants.

Beautiful setting

Brigitta was a very welcoming host, who was always accessible. She invited us to share wine with her one evening. The view is stunning. Very comfortable little cave. Easy to walk everywhere.

Very peaceful vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in Brigitta's villa. The location is ideal and Brigitta couldn't have been more lovely. I did suggest to her that she install air conditioning, but other than that, our stay was wonderful.

Santorini is a little and wonderful island. But unfortunately it has to make its electricity with generators. A lot of people wants to have air-condition and jacuzzis. But my house at the caldera is a cave house, in winter warm and in summer cool. I have shadow doors. From oecological reasons I will not install air-condition and jacuzzis , but only a van.

Amazing!

Briga ensured that we had a wonderful experience! She communicated well with us prior to our trip and made sure that everything went smoothly for us. The property was clean, beautiful, and has the perfect view! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place with an amazing host

My sister and I traveled to Santorini and rented this place at the last minute. I was truly surprised that it was still available! It is small, but has everything you need, and also has one of the best views! Marianna, who helps Brigitta is so helpful and so wonderful. Brigitta is the sweetest host I have ever met. I can not wait to come back to Santorini and stay in this exact place!

Studio 2 and the View are Lovely!

Briga was a lovely host and helpful in every way possible. Studio 2 has an amazing view of the caldera from the terrace and the apartment is lovely in every way. We look forward to returning to Santorini and staying with Briga again!
