Elegante villa de 2 dormitorios en Firostefani con increíbles vistas al mar y bañera de hidromasaje

En una tierra de 5000 metros cuadrados con olivos, higueras, palmeras, girasoles, uvas, sandías, se encuentra la Casa Iliotropion.
En la terraza trasera de la casa, justo antes de la entrada principal, hay una sala de estar al aire libre bajo una pérgola de madera sombreada, con curvas, sillas y una mesa de mármol. Esta área al aire libre domina la salida del sol y el mar a lo lejos. Cuando el cielo está despejado, puedes ver Anafi y la isla de Ios. También hay un baño completo con ducha que sirve al área exterior.

Desde la entrada principal, ingresa a una sala de estar de planta abierta, un comedor con muebles antiguos auténticos y raros. La sala de estar tiene un sofá antiguo de madera y un estilo de litera de sofá construido que puede convertirse en una cama individual cuando sea necesario.

Un banco separa la sala de estar del dormitorio. El dormitorio cuenta con una romántica cama king size con dosel.

Una puerta en la sala de estar conduce a una segunda habitación atmosférica estilo cueva con una cama Queen y un armario.

La casa cuenta con techos abovedados por todas partes que le dan un ambiente especial a la isla.

Desde la entrada a la izquierda se accede a una cocina totalmente equipada.

Desde la cocina se accede al baño de mármol con cabina de ducha.

Desde la parte trasera de la casa, una escalera conduce a la terraza del techo con impresionantes vistas al volcán y hermosas puestas de sol. Es un lugar maravilloso con vistas de 360 grados de la isla y las islas cercanas en la distancia. Debajo de una pérgola sombreada se encuentra una mesa de mármol para comer. También hay 2 chaiz largos, una gran bañera de hidromasaje y 2 hamacas para una mayor relajación.
Este lugar también sería perfecto para ceremonias de boda.

We loved this place! Beautiful property, immaculate, amazing location (the best in my opinion) and the host was next level. Indoors there is gorgeous décor and artwork in keeping with the island along with all of the amenities needed for your stay. It’s very clear this property is loved and managed with great care. The rooftop view and accommodations are surreal. You have a 360 degree view of the island, a large outdoor terrace area, a hot tub, table and chairs with a pergola and an outdoor kitchen area. We loved spending time up there! The hot tub is set back so there is some privacy. You are within walking distance of restaurants and markets and have access (both gated and locked) to the walking path. Very safe and secure. The villa parking was perfect. It’s a private drive with a gated entry. Only regret….should have stayed longer. A very special place indeed!

Perfect spot for exploring the island and to watch both sunsets and sunrises from. Easily walkable to Fira for restaurants as an alternative to those in Imerovigli although there are good ones here too - we particularly loved the place almost next to us on the coastal path - Pink Sophia Maria, where they do the best beans ever! Having private parking is a big plus too and if you want to see the island, hiring a small car can be very cheap.Jackie, the villa manager was very responsive to any queries or issues we had - all in all a great break here for 2 of us

Fotos waren besser als das Objekt selbst. Dachterasse mit schönem Ausblick, aber ohne Privacy, da unmittelbar am vielbelaufenenen Fußweg von Fira bis nach Oia. Haben deshalb die Dachterasse nie benutzt. Whirlpool ebenfalls exponiert gegenüber den vorbeilaufenden Fußgängern, nur einmal für 5 min von unserer Tochter benutzt.Vom Haus selbst Blick auf die flache Seite von Santorini. Dort sind wir gerne gesessen, wurden aber mehrmals täglich von Touristen gestört, die das Privatgrundstück betraten oder gar mit Auto oder Motorrad bis um Haus hinauf befuhren und auch den Privatparkplatz belegten, da Google Maps ihnen einen Durchgang zu Hotels und Kirche suggerierte. Leider trotz wiederholter Bitten unsererseits im Laufe der 9 Tage Aufenthalt wurde am Grundstückeingang kein Schild als Hinweis auf Privatgrundstück angebracht. Haus selbst ist kleiner als es auf den Abb. wirkt, 2. Schlafzimmer ist gleichzeitig Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer. Das hat uns aber so auch gereicht, da man sich ja meistens außerhalb aufhält. Höhlenhaus, dadurch gleichmäßige Temperatur, keine Klimaanlage erforderlich (September).Sehr nette Hilfestellungen bei der Organisation von Aktivitäten auf der Insel durch Jackie, die das Haus verwaltet.

Everything was as advertised. We appreciated the location as it is a 20 min walk to the food/entertainment area of Santorini....though its an uphill walk on the way back. You will need a vehicle to get to the other side of the island to see the famed "blue domes". The sunset from the roof/hot tub is absolutely breathtaking. I would note that the hot tub area is exclusive to guests, but not much privacy as the pedestrian walkway is eye level with the roof. Would absolutely stay here again

Excellent stay! Very clean and amenities were all as described. Communication was very easy and the villa was cleaned daily. 8-10 minute walk from the Imerovigli bus station. Would definitely stay again!

Patio off the front door looks out on the opposite side of the caldera but rooftop patio looks out onto the caldera. Walking path right out the gate. Restaurant and bars easy to get to. Walk to Fira to see that town or get the bus is about 20 mins.

Not as described. Next to a building site which made using roof terrace and outside space impossible during the day, due to noise and dust clouds. 3 parties came and refused to stay, next doorInadequate lighting onroof made it unsafe in the evenings. No microwave as advertised and denied that there was a second bathroom - a main reason for booking- on insisting, the outside bathroom was shown. We then discovered that it was being used by the workmen seat left up and urine on floor.Sink was full of rubble on arrival.Spent an inordinate amount of time awaiting workmen and manager.After much debate, we were finally offered a small amount as recompense - less than 20%

Relaxing few days in Santorini

This property was in a perfect location if you do not want to be in the middle of the crowds of Fila or Oia. It was clean, provided plenty of space and in our opinion offered better views of the sunrise and sunset than Oia with no crowds to fight. There were plenty of restaurants and shops for anything you need close by and Jackie was super responsive.

Great location, Awesome views plus things to know

The general location was central to many things, including many bars and restaurants as well as a local market. Most tours will pick you up at Galis square which is just a 7 minute walk up the main pathway (don't take the street). The views from the front patio are nice, but nothing compares to the views from the rooftop where there are lounge chairs, a table under a pergola and a hot tub. In one direction you have an awesome view of the caldera and the many islands. In the other direction, the open ocean. You have an awesome view of both sunrise AND sunset! A few pointers... 1. The 2nd bath/shower is outside the main house. It isn't far, but the pathway isn't illuminated at night. We had one in our party trip as a result...so use your phone's flashlight 2. Public access to the main public pathway is nearby, you don't need to use that since you have a private door to the public pathway (which is very convenient!). However, local taxis and gps led people to our doorstep throughout our visit, trying to find the public path. We were hardly ever there but we were "visited" 7 times by strangers looking for the access point despite there being a sign at the driveway entrance indicating this was private property. One time we were in the hot tub when a couple came all the way up the stairs, trying to get onto the path. It isn't really a safety issue, they were all nice people, but it was annoying. Hopefully the owner will add a sign that points to the public access area.

Family Time in Santorini

We had an amazing time in Santorini and the location of the house was absolutely perfect for us. The house and location was even better than expected. We were pleasantly surprised at the walking path directly out the back gate and so many restaurants near the house. I knew the path was there, but I had no idea how many things we had access too. Wonderful experience and the property manager was great! Thank you all! We pick an ideal town, house and location for our family trip.

Perfect location!

Amazing place to stay, located perfectly between Fira and Oia. Direct access to the Fira walking path out the back gate. Views of water on both sides of the island! Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Villa great location

The place was perfect with everything we needed. They had daily maid service! Very spacious and the rooftop had the most amazing views. Short walk to Fira. The manger was as respondent quickly. Definitely recommend!

Super location with great parking

We rented a car and the place is about a 15 minute drive from the airport and very easy to get to. The driveway is large and parking was easy. I highly recommend this place if you rented a car, which turned out to be a great decision. The property itself faces East (not the Caldera side), which I didn't realize, however the view is excellent. The deck on the roof, however, faces West and has absolutely incredible views of the Caldera side. We used the hot tub multiple times and the kids loved it. The roof deck is directly on a walking path/street, so despite being slightly above it, people walking by could see onto the deck, so be aware of that. It's not a big deal because most places in Santorini have this challenge given the way everything is constructed on a hillside. The unit itself was spacious and stayed cool during the day. The main bathroom is in the unit and there is a second, full bathroom with a shower that is about 50 ft from the front door in a separate little building. That seemed weird, but it's very private so wasn't an issue. The location is excellent with several restaurants about a 2 minute walk up the path and a great bakery/market about a 5 minute walk away as well. Overall an excellent choice for a family with plenty of space and great views from the roof deck.

Beautiful place

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. What a gorgeous place with exceptional views. The patio was our favourite place to hangout as we had in my opinion the best views of Santorini. The patio was huge and the hottub was great. The patio does however have a busy public path that runs right along it with full view of you on the patio which we did not realize based off of photos. It does have very easy access to the path with lovely restaurants a short walk away. In my opinion this area is the best place to stay as it is much quieter than Fira or Oia but close enough to both.

Great location and view !

This was a very nice place. The listing should be more clear that even though there are two beds for 4 people to stay here it is definitely NOT a two bedroom villa. The living room contains a bed so they called it two bedrooms.

The best location especially with no car. Property manager was excellent (if I could rate higher than excellent I would). Cleaning amazing and more than we expected. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset both. Walks along the paths to town amazing. Very quiet and private as well. Loved! Should we find ourselves in Santorini again we would not hesitate to book this property again.

Great view in convenient location

Overall great experience. The location is perfect as it’s centrally located between the two main towns and not so loud or busy. The location does not have an address and the map pin takes the taxi to the wrong location so it might be better to let the host arrange transportation for your arrival and then set a new map pin to the driveway for transportations during your stay. We lost water one night because some issue happened with the neighbor next door and someone woke us up banging on the door very early in the morning to tell us to move a car. That was unpleasant and scared us but no one had control of that. The terrace is huge so we used it to have dinner and stage a beautiful background to take pictures since my friend traveling with us is a professional photographer. However it is right along the Fira-Oia hike so everyone walking by peeks over without there being any form of privacy. Property is someone’s home so it doesn’t feel like something you would have with a space used solely for rentals as there are personal pictures and items in the home and it’s a bit outdated. This did not bother us, just something to note. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Fabulous property

Lovely villa, excellent location, outstanding views, very private and secure. Jackie was wonderful and very responsive when we had questions or requests. The 4 stars regarding accuracy of online listing is only because the site indicates "perfect for wedding ceremonies". With that said we planned to have a small dinner on the rooftop (9 people total) as we were there for our son's wedding, but were told this would not be permitted. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a closet in the "cave bedroom", but no other place such as a dresser to put your clothes in. Actually there is a dresser but it was full of decorative dishes, etc. not being used. This works for 2 people, but we had 4. So you either have to live out of your suitcase or find room on a bookshelf to stack your clothes that you don't intend to hang in the bedroom. FYI you are unable to flush toilet paper and must dispose of your used toilet paper in the trash can in the bathroom. We understand why, but didn't know this in advance. Fortunately the maid came every day which was very nice. Also, a microwave would be useful for reheating leftovers etc. We discovered the wonderful Ilios Bakery and Market extremely close by where we went almost every day and brought home delicious leftovers. The rooftop is expansive with a great hot tub. A few more lounge chairs/chairs would be nice. There were 4 of us and only 3 lounge chairs. We would definitely stay there again!!!!

Great location with fantastic views

Location location. This house definitely has it. Being just on the North edge of Thira, it's a very short walk-in but just far enough out not to be caught up in the commercial foot traffic. It has a private lockable gate that allows you on to the main footpath. The rooftop deck is massive and offers spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. From our observation it did not appear that many other homes offered both. There is the world's most incredible Bakery about a block away and we ate there at least once a day. It also had a small grocery store so we got water and other things there including some Essentials due to having lost luggage for 24 hours :-) Had a few challenges during our stay but the host responded to them very quickly and resolved them. It had daily maid service which we were unaware of so it was nice coming back from a day of sightseeing to find the bed made and Fresh Linen in the bathroom. I think the only changes we would recommend is to replace the pillows. They were not comfortable. Very large Square pillows that were super firm. Also there is no microwave which would have been very handy to heat things up quickly. We essentially ate out for every meal so this wasn't a big deal but if you stayed there with kids you may want one. Lastly the host has a lot of things stored there. Underneath the bed is completely full of stuff as well as is the lone dresser by the main bed so there wasn't room to put anything. I would recommend making some room for
