Hi, I’m Bengu — an artist, designer, and mom who loves creating spaces that feel calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully lived in. Hosting became a natural extension of what I already love most: creating environments where people can slow down, gather, and feel at home.

I care deeply about details, comfort, and atmosphere, from cozy interiors to outdoor spaces made for relaxing and making memories. Whether guests are visiting with family, celebrating, or simply taking a break from everyday life, I hope the home feels warm, peaceful, and memorable during their stay.

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of convenience and calm. The home is only minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh and close to many of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants, and attractions, while still feeling quiet, safe, and residential. Being located near the Liberty Tunnel makes getting into the city incredibly easy.

This was once my own home, so I have a personal connection to the area and truly enjoyed living here. Tucked away on a dead-end street, the neighborhood has a peaceful, almost suburban feel that creates a relaxing escape from the city while still being very close to everything.

I’ve always been drawn to water, outdoor living, and spaces that feel restorative. The pool and outdoor area became a little oasis for me — something that reminded me of the Mediterranean lifestyle I grew up around. As someone originally from the Mediterranean region, creating a home with warmth, outdoor gathering spaces, and a sense of retreat was especially meaningful to me.

What makes this property special is the combination of location, privacy, and atmosphere. It’s rare to find a home so close to Downtown Pittsburgh that still feels peaceful and tucked away. The outdoor space was designed to feel relaxing and inviting, with a pool, gathering areas, and a sense of escape that makes the property feel more like a retreat than a typical city stay.

As an artist and designer, I’ve also put a lot of thought into the home’s character, comfort, and details. I wanted the space to feel warm, lived-in, and welcoming rather than overly commercial — a place where guests can truly unwind, spend quality time together, and feel at home.
