Welcome to this large and comfortable vacation home in Merkem. The beautiful house with solid wood furniture offers you everything you need. With several stoves in the different rooms, you can warm up the common areas on cool days, where you can eat together or play board games. The winter garden gives you a nice view of the beautiful garden, where you can spend many hours in the warm months. A large covered terrace offers you the ideal place to enjoy your meals outdoors and watch your children playing in the garden.



Take trips and discover the beautiful cities of Flanders. Ypres and Roeselare are magnificent cities where you can enjoy and marvel at the architecture of past eras. Stroll through the streets, squares and go shopping. As a nature lover you will like the nature reserve De Blankaart. Here you can hike, bike and take a boat ride. Experience the marshland while walking and watch birds at the lake.

If you have a longing for the sea, you can take a day trip by car to the southern North Sea coast of Belgium and spend beautiful hours on the wide sandy beaches.

Geweldig huisje met een mooie onderhouden tuin.Je kunt er zowel met kinderen als honden heerlijk genieten.De eigenaren zijn hele lieve mensen.In september gaan we weer voor twee weken.Dank aan Rita en haar man voor de goede zorgen.

Rita is een hele fijne gastvrouw waar je voor van alles en nog wat terecht kan. Bij aankomst bleek er iets kapot te zijn en dat werd onmiddellijk vervangen. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en er is speelgoed voor de kinderen! In de omgeving is heel veel te doen, we hebben ons niet verveeld met de kids en onze honden konden vaak gewoon mee! Dank je wel Rita!

Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en er is speelgoed voor de kinderen! In de omgeving is heel veel te doen, we hebben ons niet verveeld met de kids en onze honden konden vaak gewoon mee! We kregen een warm en welkom ontvangst van Rita, en de plek voelde gelijk goed en gezellig aan. Er stonden verse eitjes klaar, die heerlijk waren. Bedden waren heel goed. Douche was een goede straal, en de instap in bad is laag, voelt meer aan als een verhoogde douchebak, goed te doen. Tuin ook heel groot, waar onze teckel heerlijk in kon lopen. We vonden het ook heel geschikt voor een gezin met kinderen. Veel spel en speel materiaal aanwezig. De omgeving barst van de geschiedenis en je zit vlak aan de Franse grens en aan zee. Al met al een aanrader, en wij komen zeker terug.

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Wir würden herzlich von Rita willkommen geheißen, danke für leckeren Eier. Wir als Familie verbrachten eine super entspannte Woche dort. Mit dem Fahrrad lässt sich die ganze Umgebung gut erkunden. Auch mit dem Auto ist man unter einer Stunde an der Küste, in Brügge usw..

Wir haben mit unseren drei Kindern im Haus Margarite Urlaub gemacht und was soll ich sagen, es war einfach perfekt. Die Hausherren sind so freundlich und herzlich. Es fehlt an nichts in diesem super gemütlich eingerichtetem Haus. Der Garten ist groß und umzäunt, perfekt zum Spielen für die Kinder. Es gab sogar Fahrzeuge und Spielsachen. Das Auto steht sicher mit auf dem Grundstück und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
