Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the cottage, waterfront and 1+ acre property.
The Neighborhood:
Property is quite private with neighbours only on one side. Lush trees and character rock formations pepper the landscape around Pôr do Sol. Small secluded bay with only 5 cottages. Close to Cedar Cove Resort, Bayview Lodge, White Lake Marina and accessible via Pakenham, White Lake or Burnstown village. Country roads cleared all year round for great accessibility no matter the season. Community minded residents organize activities like: Canada Day fireworks, fishing derby events and fundraisers. A short drive from Ottawa and a scenic drive from GTA.
Perfect winter retreat with for your scenic and outdoor activity inspired holiday. Well situated between two local ski hills, and a number of trails to be explored on foot, mountain bike, snowshoes and skies.
Getting Around:
Ample parking available near front entrance of cottage, in front of garage as well 2 parking spots inside garage (during winter months). Walking on country road is safest with high visibility vest. Extra care and caution are required on country roads due to various wildlife in the area (turtles, deer, groundhogs, porcupines etc) Persons using ATVs, Side by Sides or snowmachines are required by the MTO to use designated and marked trails. Guests can bring their own bicycles and are recommended to have gravel tires or mountain bikes.

Early check in / late check out is available at $50 per hour.
Pet Rules
1. Maximum of 2 pets.
2. Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
3. We do have pet baskets on the property, there's towels, toys, leashes and other little goodies.
4. Please be sure to wipe your pets paws before entering the home, you can find towels in the pet basket.
5. Pets are not allowed to roam free, please keep them leashed at all times.
6. You are responsible for removing your pets waste.
REMINDER: Water/Plumbing and Septic
Please understand that the Cottage has a septic system and only bodily waste materials or biodegradable toilet paper can be flushed down the toilet. Absolutely no feminine hygiene products, including tampons, are to be flushed even if the product is labeled as ‘flushable’. Please also remember because of the septic not to put any solid waste materials, coffee grounds or grease down the sink drains.
If there is a sewage back up and we find evidence of any of the above, we will defer this cost back to the guest.
The well water is UV treated and safe for consumption.
There are natural changes that may occur in the area that is out of our control. Although these occurrences are rare, they do sometimes happen. Please be sure to ask us if there are any reports of water quality in order to ensure your stay is not affected. If we are informed of any information after you book but prior to the stay, we will inform you.
Please note that profiles with a lower review rating than 4.5 stars will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.
Deposits may be required.
Interaction with Guests:
Hosts will be accessible by text/call and appointed staff may come to site if required to assist urgently. However, hosts will provide ample notice before staff responds to site.
