Welcome to your ultimate Cape Charles escape! This beautifully fully renovated, 2,490-square-foot historic Victorian home blends timeless 1920s architectural charm with modern amenities. Enjoy a brilliant, sun-drenched interior thanks to the home's premier southern exposure, or step outside to catch the refreshing bay breezes from your choice of outdoor living spaces. Unwind on the expansive, classic front porch, or fire up the grill and relax with a cold drink on your private back patio and deck.


Located on tree-lined Monroe Avenue, you are just a 2-minute walk to Central Park’s summer concerts, pickleball courts, and playground, and a short, easy stroll to the historic downtown shops, restaurants, galleries, and the calm waters of Cape Charles beach! A golf cart is included (signed waiver required to use), and dogs are welcome!

For guest safety and property security, this home uses a single exterior security camera located at the front entrance, monitoring the front entrance and front porch, and only records video and audio when motion is detected. There are absolutely no cameras, recording devices, or surveillance equipment of any kind located inside any interior spaces of this property.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay\! The home is beautiful, impeccably clean, and exceptionally well maintained\. It’s clear the hosts have thought of every detail, providing high\-end amenities that made our stay both comfortable and memorable\. The location is perfect—just a few blocks from the beach—and the included golf cart was a fun and incredibly convenient way to get around Cape Charles\. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will absolutely be back\. Highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area\!

We were raised as military brats, so we've been around the globe a bit. Currently, we call the town of Clifton, VA home. We've been coming down to Cape Charles and making memories with family for over 15 years, we absolutely adore the town and people, and we are stoked to be able to share our home with everyone so they too can experience the awesomeness of Cape Charles.

Why they chose this property

We have the old house bug! We live in a circa 1900s house in Clifton, and when 609 Monroe came available in the Cape Charles historic district, we jumped. The neighborhood is peaceful, offering a real sense of serenity and calmness. It's a super vibe that melts away the stress of hectic lives and the bustle of the world.

What makes this property unique

It's luminous, which captivated us when we first visited. It embodies the lightness we feel when we spend time here, and we hope everyone who stays here will feel that too!
