Acabanes è una grande villa francese finemente ristrutturata in una deliziosa area della Dordogna Occidentale, vicino a Bergerac, Duras ed Eymet.

È pieno di fascino e carattere, ma modernizzato secondo i più alti standard con ampie strutture, ed è situato in una posizione tranquilla sul lato di una dolce collina con una bella vista a sud sulla campagna circostante e vigneti.

Grande risorsa !! I nostri cuochi facoltosi, in casa, offrono una gamma di opzioni di ristorazione molto convenienti. Gruppi numerosi amano avere questa opzione. Si prega di contattare Tracey per ulteriori dettagli.

La villa è stata progettata e attrezzata per la vita all'aperto, con una grande (11x5m) superba piscina riscaldata con copertura retrattile, il che significa che può essere utilizzata come piscina interna o esterna.

Ci rivolgiamo a tutte le dimensioni di parti e in grado di ospitare sia i più giovani; gli anziani; o con mobilità / ruota limitati gli utenti di sedia.
Un'ampia attrezzatura è fornita gratuitamente per neonati e bambini piccoli. Non è necessario portare con sé alcuno dei tuoi bambini o attrezzature per bambini, il che significa che hai la possibilità di volare a Bergerac o Bordeaux se preferisci.

La villa ha un vasto parco di circa tre ettari e dispone di 5 terrazze e un balcone. Le aree esterne sono ideali per il relax generale e varie attività sportive per tutta la famiglia. Una grande scatola sportiva è prevista per gli ospiti.

La terrazza coperta piastrellata è ideale per barbecue, con tavolo e sedie per mangiare all'aperto o semplicemente per godersi la vista sul giardino e sulla campagna circostante.

Piscina e terrazze: La piscina e terrazze sono state progettate per produrre il massimo spazio per gli ospiti, mentre massimizzare lo spazio individuale. La piscina di 11x5m è circondata da una terrazza coperta molto grande con molti lettini e ombrelloni. La piscina è dotata di una copertura telescopica per piscina retrattile.

L'illuminazione d'atmosfera consente in tutto la piscina e le terrazze di essere utilizzate fino a tarda sera.

I giardini si estendono per oltre 3 ettari con un giardino inferiore recintato di 2 ettari. Questo ampio giardino è perfetto per il calcio con obiettivi di calcio e rounders. C'è anche un trampolino supersize, area giochi per bambini, sabbionaia, Wendy House e bocce.

Piano terra
Il punto focale del fienile è un vasto salotto di 9m x 8m che si apre su un magnifico soffitto a "cattedrale" in legno. Questo salotto è pieno di carattere con le pareti in pietra originale e pavimenti piastrellati. Situato all'interno del salone è una zona di intrattenimento che comprende una TV al plasma 50in HD con TV satellitare gratuita e pacchetto sportivo, collegato a un DVD e un videoregistratore. Un tavolo da biliardo campionato è anche nella zona lounge che i nostri ospiti godono davvero e molti tornei si divertono fino a tarda sera. C'è una vasta area informativa con mappe e volantini. Ci sono un sacco di giochi da tavolo per tutte le età per i nostri ospiti.

La cucina e sala da pranzo conduce dal soggiorno. Questa area è 9m x 4m con pavimenti piastrellati e unità di quercia. Ha anche un grande forno a gas a doppia alimentazione Range Master, forno a microonde, lavastoviglie, lavatrice e grande frigorifero / congelatore. La cucina si apre attraverso le doppie porte francesi, su una terrazza piastrellata parzialmente coperta. C'è un barbecue a carbone Weber e gas, e tavolo e sedie sulla terrazza ideale per cenare.

Al piano di sotto le due camere da letto triple super triple Lavender e Vert, hanno adiacenti bagni con doccia en-suite, con pareti in pietra a vista, pavimenti piastrellati e porte alle loro terrazze che conducono alla zona della piscina.

The Yellow Suite - Master camera da letto con letto super king e divano che può convertire in un letto singolo. Camera doppia. Queste 2 camere condividono un bagno con doccia e vasca.

Tutte le camere matrimoniali dispongono di un set per la preparazione di tè e caffè e tutti i letti dispongono di materassi di alta qualità. Ogni ospite viene fornito con un asciugamano piscina e 2 asciugamani da bagno. C'è assestamento bedeck tutto. Ci sono autentiche reti africane su tutti i letti super king.

Ideal house for family get together

I booked the house for a family celebration and get together. It was fantastically well equipped for games, pool tournaments, outdoor activities and equipment for my grandchildren. Great location and guidance from Tracey on local places to go.

Fantastic house, pool and location

What a fabulous place. Set in beautiful French countryside, tranquil and full of rural charm. The house is absolutely amazing with a vaulted ceiling and a massive communal area. Many an hour was spent around the 2 log fires, pool table and the kitchen table that could have seated a small army. The swimming pool is very well thought through, with a sliding cover about 3ft over the water, so even if you were to visit out of season you can all jump in and the pool is kept warm. There is even a sauna and gym should you feel so inclined. When you then delve deeper into the house, there are lots of beautifully made up rooms, retaining their rustic charm, yet combined with all the modern luxuries you could want for. The beds are fantastically comfortable and the bathrooms with their roll-top baths and power showers are a great way to unwind after a long day of walks, biking or relaxing on the terrace or in the enormous garden. It is often the case in other such places that details such as the kitchen are lost. Not at all here - all the important bits such as kitchen knives that are actually sharp, ample cutlery, cooking implements, coffee machines, crockery and of course wine glasses are all there in abundance, fully thought through for large groups and families to be more than comfortable. And if cooking isn’t your thing, then there are various restaurants and eateries just a walk or a bike ride away. There are a mass of bikes available of all different sizes and configurations for all ages, making it incredibly handy to get around should you want to enjoy the countryside. And what a beautiful area it is, just a short trip to some amazing castles, vineyards or ancient towns for a bit of sightseeing or wine tasting. Having spent a glorious week there, we didn’t even get around to playing most of the games, the roulette table or massive DVD collection. The place really is so well furnished with everything we could have wanted. An absolute 10/10 and we shall definitely be back. Thank you Tracey & Adrian.

The perfect holiday villa for both kids and adults

What a gem! We were looking for accommodation for a Summer Holiday for a large group friends of 7 adults and 6 kids. Acabanes ticked every box we were looking for and the children (and adults!) were thoroughly spoiled. Tracey has considered everything to enable families to have the best holiday. Our children ranged from 2 years to 8 years and they were all catered for. The list of Infant items available was astonishing as well, we had to hardly bring a thing for our toddler. The Villa was sparkling clean when we arrived and the bedrooms were all lovely. Bed linen clean and plenty of towels for everyone. The huge, cooling, living space through the front door was cavernous and we never felt cramped. We often retreated here during the high heat of the day (35degrees!). The kitchen was kitted out for every cooking need and had plenty of storage, utensils and crockery (which is very rare in a holiday rental!) and the terrace was the perfect place for group lunches and relaxing adult evenings, once the kids were in bed. The grounds and gardens were huge and beautifully kept, with a large sweeping lawn in front of the terrace. The trampoline was a sure hit with all of our kids. The swimming pool was also kept sparkling clean throughout and the salt water wasn't salty like the sea, but made the water very soft. It was very refreshing on the really hot days we had there. The only downside was the amount of bees flying around the pool edge and also falling into the water. They were simply, very thirsty and wanted to drink the water which had spilled out of the pool. But with a lot of children running around, 3 of them were stung on their feet. We notified Tracey and she had the 'Bee man' come round that afternoon. We were advised to leave plates water out for them with sane in so they could land. This helped, but didn't clear them. In the end, we got used to them. But we all had to be very careful where we trod when we got out of the pool. Tracey was hugely helpful from the moment we booked the holiday and throughout our time there. No request or question was too much for her and we felt very looked after. The realm of information available on the guest area on the website helped us plan great days out and places to eat. We also had a caterer cook for us one evening, which was delicious. Highly recommend this villa for families or groups with children. We will certainly return!

Great villa for large groups

The villa is very well set up for large groups, with accommodation appropriately set out to allow for multiple families with privacy. Villa caters for everything you need and the owner provides excellent customer service. It worked very well for us, having initially a large extended family group, followed by my son's friends. All had a great time and were impressed with the facilities.

Cadre idéal pour une belle réunion de famille

Comme nous avions coutume de le faire chaque année avec mon épouse, malgré la dispersion des familles de nos 3 filles (Guyane, USA et Poitiers), j'ai réuni fin juillet de cette année, pendant 2 semaines, mes 9 petits-enfants et arrière-petite-fille dans cette fort agréable maison, idéalement adaptée pour 3 familles. La cadre, l'aménagement intérieur, le détail dans la décoration, les équipements de terrasse, jardin et piscine, enfin tout était fait pour rendre notre séjour à tous, petits et grands, parfaitement réussi. Oui, ce fut une très belle réunion de famille! Et je vous dis encore, chère Tracey, un très grand merci pour m'avoir permis de continuer à tisser ces liens familiaux auxquels nous tenions tant avec ma regrettée Suzy.

Extérieur magnifique maison très bien équipée

Parfait pour un séjour avec enfants tout le matériel bébé est à disposition jeux de jardin et d'intérieur pour petits et grands vélos en parfait état. Le service de conciergerie est très appréciable nos courses ont été faites avant notre arrivée. Jardin immense bien entretenu au calme et très belle piscine. Pour ce qui est de l'intérieur salles de bain luxueuses convient à 5 couples maximum car 4 chambres lit double (+1 ou 2 lits simples) et une chambre avec 2 lits simples. Point négatif : Il peut faire chaud dans les chambres du haut mais elles sont équipées de clim, la literie n'était pas à mon goût (matelas ressort). Il vaut mieux savoir parler anglais pour communiquer clairement avec les propriétaires les explications en français étant mal traduites. Point positif: extrême amabilité de la propriétaire et des personnes responsables sur place qui ont fait leur possible pour rendre notre séjour agréable.

très beau gîte

très bon séjour. Trien ne manque, tout est prévu pour passer de bonnes vacances, Par contre,ne étoile en moins car tout est en anglais. l'électroménager, les produits, les consignes, les livres, films etc... Nous sommes en France, il serait convenable que les consignes soient écrites aussi en français et qu'il y est également des livres, films etc en français.

Magnifique semaine en famille

A fantastic holiday.

Acabanes was a really impressive luxury holiday home set in the beautiful countryside of the Dordogne. As a family of 12 members over three generations Acabanes provided plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have our own space. The heated pool was used everyday, rain or shine and we even managed a full family bike ride to a local vineyard! The garden and terrace were fantastic and we spent many an evening admiring the view whilst drinking delicious local red wine. Matthew and Katie catered for us one night which was a real treat. Tracey the owner of Acabanes was extremely helpful in recommending local places to visit and restaurants. A fantastic location and wonderful family holiday. Thank you.

An excellent family home in a secluded spot.

A character family home in a secluded area of the Dordogne. All the home comforts you could wish for and extremely clean. Several break out areas on patios and balcony. A great safe swimming pool and large garden area for active children. Splendid back up from owners if any special needs.

Perfect Spring holiday

Acabanes was an amazing holiday. I visited with my wife and 2 labradors. We wanted a luxury holiday home but also wanted to take our dogs with us. The garden was brilliant as it's all fenced in and the walks from the house were super. We've booked again for next Spring and I think it will become a regular place for us.

Amazing

We had the most wonderful time in this amazing property. The house has everything you could possibly want and to excellent standard. Excellent holiday accomodation

“We were a family party ranging in ages from 70 to 7. The villa accomadated us all, with every possible activity you could want. We swam,cycled,played football,cricket and rounders. There was also the gym,sauna,pool table and table tennis. Difficult to tear the younger members away from the villa. An excellent holiday home for all ages. We had a holiday that will always be remembered as very special. I would also recommend Matthew 'the in house chef'. He prepared two excellent meals at the villa , and we also visited his pop up restaurant”

Very nice, well maintained holiday home

We spent a week in Acabanes to celebrate a birthday with our family comprising eight adults ranging in age from 39 to 82, two teenagers and a six-year-old. The house appeared to be very well equipped for all ages. Particularly the swimming pool with its constant 24-degree temperature and the pool table have been frequently used. The house is very complete, has a well equipped kitchen and has enough space for a party of our size. We had marvelous weather so we spent most of the time outdoors, but there are enough possibilities in case the weather is less attractive. The information supplied by Tracey is very completeand and her follow up is excellent.

Fantastic Villa, ideal for our family get together

We are regular visitors to Acabanes, and also the owners other property, La Grange Sud,we have family in the area and visit as often as we can. Acabanes is a fantastic Villa, equipped to a very high standard,and caters for all ages,.We hosted a large family get together ,with family joining us from several,different destinations, so we were confident that being based at Acabanes it could only be a wonderful holiday for us all..Everyone loved the Pool and sunbathing terrace,.There are lots of terraces and indoor areas,so you can socialise or find a quiet area if so required ! Plenty of space for the children to run around,,play football etc. Quiet country lanes to enjoy cycle rides and walks, to lovely villages, vineyards etc, and the Bastide Towns, Markets, lovely restaurants,and the wonderful Chateau De Viigiers are all very close. Tracey is very helpful and can arrange many other things such as Wine Tasting etc, and even a Chef to visit and cook for you at home.A great holiday.

what an experience

My family and I stayed for a week with a small baby and well what can I say. This is the best accommodation by far that we have ever stayed in. We have travelled around the world and stayed in 5 star accommodation and never have we experienced such luxury! The rooms we stayed in are private, one with a terrace and one with balcony. The salt water pool was heated and we loved taking our baby in every day. There are too many facilities to mention! all baby facilities were provided as well as a pool table, many games, picnic bags, bbq's, BBQ equipment. the list goes on and on. This place would be perfect for small or large families as well as families with small babies. I think this will be our regular summer vacation and are already planning our holiday for next summer!

Perfect Villa for an out of Season Break

We visited end of March for an out of season break for four days to visit family who live locally. We frequently do this and fly down from Southampton to Bergerac with Flybe. The Villa has a heated pool, rare for France, and the house in perfect, with log burners in the main living and kitchen areas and heating in the bedrooms. So well equipped inside and out. Local restaurants, markets, wine tasting at vineyards, golf , little villages and towns all within easy reach.highly recommended

Amazing

Property and its location are simply beautfiul.

The property, the grounds, its location and all the facilities and equipment are all brilliant. My family and I, together with my sisters family and my mum, 10 of us in total had an amazing two weeks in the villa. Tracey was absolutely amazing to deal with and her contact with me, information she provides and suggestions of things to see and do were simply the best I have ever experienced. We had a wonderful two weeks in the villa, swimming in the pool, bike riding and exploring the surrounding countryside. Be sure to visit Chateau Thenac at the top of the hill, we did a wine tour and tasting which was excellent. Thanks Tracey for making our holiday in your villa so wonderful and relaxing, you really have thought of everything!

Superb holiday property

Very well equipped and maintained property,all in lovely condition and extremely clean. Beds extremely comfortable, very nice aspect from all bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen with every bit of equipment that one might need. Very good outside gas BBQ and charcoal / BBQ if wanted.Very good seating arrangement. Superb heated swimming pool, with very good safety features. Whole property very highly recommended and owner is very easy to contact and extremely helpful.

Very nice, well maintained holiday home

We spent a week in Acabanes to celebrate a birthday with our family comprising eight adults ranging in age from 39 to 82, two teenagers and a six-year-old. The house appeared to be very well equipped for all ages. Particularly the swimming pool with its constant 24-degree temperature and the pool table have been frequently used. The house is very complete, has a well equipped kitchen and has enough space for a party of our size. We had marvelous weather so we spent most of the time outdoors, but there are enough possibilities in case the weather is less attractive. The information supplied by Tracey is very completeand and her follow up is excellent.

First class holiday accommodation

We were a family party ranging in ages from 70 to 7. The villa accomadated us all, with every possible activity you could want. We swam,cycled,played football,cricket and rounders. There was also the gym,sauna,pool table and table tennis. Difficult to tear the younger members away from the villa. An excellent holiday home for all ages. We had a holiday that will always be remembered as very special. I would also recommend Matthew 'the in house chef'. He prepared two excellent meals at the villa , and we also visited his pop up restaurant.

Amazing property and excellent service

We stayed for 2 weeks at this property and were a party made up of 3 couples and 5 under 2s. Tracey at Acabanes has thought of everything and this is an excellent place for people with children. Whilst ours we’re pretty young and enjoyed the trampoline and swimming pool, older children would have loved the table tennis, pool table, football pitch, bikes and all manor of sporting facilities. The gite is the best equipped I’ve ever visited, everything has been considered and is of the highest quality. From Denby and Le Creuset crockery, to Christy towels and webber BBQs it was surprising to so so much quality being poored into a holiday let. The decor was lovely and huge comfortable king size beds in the rooms. All manor of kitchen gadgets and tools including a very useful ice machine made catering for 11 no problem at all. The pool was excellent and the cover meant we could swim when there was the occasional windy or chilly day. Tracey’s attention to detail and caring and attentive customer service has made our stay unforgettable and extremely easy with very small children. We cannot recommend this place enough, its excellent.

Another lovely Spring Holiday at La Grange.

My husband and I visit La Grange every year, and love to visit in the Spring,the temperature is ideal for swimming walking etc. 20 and more this year. The heated pool,with the retractable cover is fantastic, we swam every day.So nice to sit on the different terraces for breakfast lunch etc, especially after our long wet winter in UK !!!!! Perfect for walks,cycling ,golfing and not forgetting visits to the Bastide Towns and village markets. We love Eymet, market is on a Thursday.Oh, nearly forgot wine tasting,! Tracey can provide information on vineyards to visit. The Villa is wonderfully equipped,everything has been thought of to make a lovely holiday for guests, whatever age.

I have lived in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England since 1994. This is where our children also grew up and is our family home. Our daughter now lives in Abu Dhabi with her family and our son lives in the Dordogne, France with his family. Although we live many miles apart we try hard to have family get togethers. Many of our guests hire Acabanes for special family reunions and we completely understand the importance of how special these holidays are.

We decided to purchase Acabanes in 1999 after enjoying many special holidays in this region while the children were young.

We have travelled all over the world but genuinely believe that this area of the Dordogne is magical. It is very peaceful and relaxing, but there are also many activities to participate in, including, wine tasting, golf, go karting, canoeing, walking, cycling, restaurants.

The region also has fantastic weather and is wonderful to visit at any time of the year.

I will help plan your holiday so that you need not find any part of it stressful, including the travel, overnight accommodation, golf tee times, restaurant reservations, special occasion meals, groceries bought for arrival - the list is endless and I am here to help you!
