Relax in this cosy and quiet accommodation in the Taunus mountains close to Frankfurt. You can expect a spacious, high-quality house on a hillside with a great view and a secluded garden.

Only a few meters away you are in untouched nature and vast forests. Whether hiking, racing / mountain bike or a golfing in summer - active vacationers will love this place. Alos in winter, the Taunus has a lot to offer with snow walks, skiing and sledging.

Our chalet
At the house you will find a beautiful garden with a view, various terraces with seating, a cosy living area with soapstone stove, a modern fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining area. On the garden floor, children have plenty of space to play. In total there are 6 sleeping places and 3 bathrooms available. The carport offers space for 2-3 vehicles. The house is equipped with a flat-screen TV (satellite and internet TV with Magenta TV, Netflix and media libraries) and high-speed internet / WLAN. It also has a gas barbecue and a table tennis table. This accommodation is not suitable for small children due to the many stairs.



Schmitten and Taunus
Take a deep breath, treat yourself to some peace and quiet and leave the stress of everyday life behind, no matter what the season, in the Taunus municipality of Schmitten, which has been awarded the title of "climatic health resort", you can relax all year round: The snow-covered forest in winter invites you to take leisurely hiking tours. Those who want more action can either visit one of the popular tobogganing hills or go skiing. In spring it is especially beautiful - when the birds chirp more and nature comes to life. In summer, the open-air swimming pool invites you to refresh yourself, but you can also enjoy the warm temperatures during an extended summer walk or a bicycle tour. You can play golf on the golf course of the Taunus Weilrod Golf Club, about 10 km away. Autumn enchants with colourfully coloured trees and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
