On the shore of Sapsojärvi - on a beautiful promontory, there is a separate log cabin for vacationing and enjoying nature. The cottage was built in 1998, with a living space of 60 m2 + a loft. The living room kitchen has an atmospheric fireplace and dining set for 4-6 people, the living room has a sofa bed as an alternative bed for 1. Downstairs, a separate room with 2 x 80cm beds. 2 x 120 cm beds in the open loft. Access from the loft to the balcony with a view of the stream and the boathouse. In connection with the cabin, a wood-heated sauna, a shower (cabinet), and a separate toilet (access from the washroom and hall). Glazed terrace / porch, from where you can admire the scenery over Lake Sapsojärvi.

There is a steep descent to the cottage's own beach, the beach is shallow for a long distance, soft in the deeper parts. On the beach, a natural sand beach. Matala beach is suitable for e.g. for children and water games. For swimming, we recommend the beach at the tip of the promontory (I followed the path for approx. 150 m), where there is a better shallow swimming spot with a sandy bottom. Note the buildings there are not used by tenants. A campfire site in the yard of the cottage.
