Great location and easy to travel into and out of area. It’s a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We really liked proximity to golf courses and beaches. Check in with resort was easy and helpful. Getting groceries and supplies was very convenient. We would stay again.

Villa was wonderful, clean and spacious, perfect for our family of 5. The BBQ outside easy to use, a real lifesaver considering it can be quite expensive eating around the resort. Keith was an exceptional host, always quick in reply to a few minor issues we encountered during the stay, and helped out where he could! Great stay overall, but just consider your travel arrangements/budgets, it can be a long walk to amenities from the villa, we found uber to be helpful and quite cheap.

Charlie Thanks for your review, much appreciated. I normally hire a car but a lot of guests are switching to Uber as you are right, it's very economic. I recommend some amazing restaurants in the villa brochure off site which produce amazing family food at really cost effective prices. I hope we can welcome you back again. Brgds Keith

Hi Julie. I am so pleased that you had a great time and that the Villa was presented so well. Vale do Lobo do a great job. I always rent a car myself and you can often shop around and find good rates, I like the convenience of it. However I am also a big fan of Uber at the villa as their prices are so competitive. Also Vale do Lobo sell Family Cards which can give you access to the Resort Bus. We look forward to welcoming you back.

We stayed a little over two weeks at Villa Folly and enjoyed our stay very much. The communication with the owner has been extraordinarily good, starting with the booking until our departure. The owner, Keith, responded immediately when we had an issue and is locally well connected, so that it got solved quickly. The check-in and check-out process is easy and convenient, handled by the reception of Vale do Lobo which is open 24/7.The villa itself is beautiful - as shown in the pictures - and a good place to relax. We really appreciated the insect screens in front of every window and the terrace doors. The villa is also great for quiet and relaxed evenings - we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the balcony and having a nightcap while listening to the “grillos” and watching the night sky.A well equipped supermarket is right at the entrance of Vale do Lobo, so no long drives to buy food or breakfast. It was nice to have restaurants in walking distance,. When we had dinner at Vale do Lobo we usually walked to the restaurants and took an Uber to get back.We can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Folly for a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful villa

The villa has a very homely feel about it and it is very beautiful. It is situated in a perfect location. We were a group of 5 ladies and we used Uber to get around which was very reasonable. Keith the owner of the villa was very approachable and always got an instant reply when we contacted him. If you are looking for a perfect villa I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic Stay

Great villa, beautifully kept, great amenities. Have stayed in VDL many times and this was certainly one of the best. Lots of space both inside and out, plenty of seating in the villa, large outdoor area with sun loungers and large table and chairs. Great to have a barbecue as well. Having had a couple of questions with the owner he came back to us with answers almost immediately. Will stay again and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for an upmarket stay in Vale Do Lobo.

Extremely well equipped house, it has everything you could need. Great BBQ and outdoor area, nice clean pool, loads of loungers. We didn't heat the pool in early April and it was fine - lovely and refreshing after being out in the sun. Beautiful and clean area very close to loads of excellent places to eat and visit. We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Villa. The Villa is very well equipped, the kitchen has all you need. Wifi worked perfectly, 3 adults and a child using it with no issues. If you do not hire a car uber works great and is very reasonable. You will need to use an uber from reception to the villa as its a bit of a walk. The pool is great, ideal for little ones and adults. Our 2 yr old granddaughter spent 2 hours in it just floating with her armbands :).

Thanks for the review Karen. I am so pleased you enjoyed the Villa. Remarkably quite a few walk to the shop. Personally I always rent a car and as you said Uber out there is great and very reasonably priced. Also if you procure a resort card from Vale do Lobo you can use the bus as well. We hope to see you again soon.
