Overall our stay was great. There were a few things that could have been better…the water was discolored with an orange tinge to it and the just let us know that most people prefer to bring bottled water. The alarm for the septic tank went off several times. Contacted the host the first time it happened and was assured the problem was with the float in the tank and not to worry. It did happen a couple more times in the night so it was a bit alarming to wake up to but was fine after we silenced the alarm. The property was clean and comfortable right on the lake and we had everything we needed. Enjoyed our time in Portage Lake very much!

Thank you so much for your review and letting us know about the alarm. We have listened and since installed a water system to help with the issue. We hope to host you all again soon! Desiree
